  1. I’ve seen people use even less molasses and just do one cup of white sugar and 1 tablespoon of molasses for light brown sugar and for dark brown sugar, increase the molasses to 2 tablespoons. :)

  2. If you are looking for a low glycemic approach for a brown sugar substitute, agave nectar works as well.
