Kearna’s Wish List

I am tired of using my finger on the Laptop touchpad so I am wishing for  this Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 (Crimson Red).

KitchenAid Pouring Shield  I don’t know why I haven’t gotton one of these years ago, but I am a little tired of cleaning up all the messes my kids make from turning the KitchenAid on too fast.  But at least they are helping :) !

I took the liberty of buying my own Christmas present on Black Friday (my husband was delighted)!  I have been wanting a Cricut for years and finally got one.  I am looking for some good starter cartridges and thought this Storybook Cricut Cartridge looked fun.  If you have a Cricut what would you recommend?

I have the pouring shield, but end up taking it off more than using it because it is a pain … I feel that the lip doesn’t go out far enough or steep enough to actually pour flour / sugar / etc into it. It is nice to put it on when mixing wet items so that they don’t splash.

  2. I agree with Emily; I don’t use the shield on my kitchenaid either. Its more of a pain than cleaning up flour.

  3. I like the cartridge Bags, tags, boxes and more for the cricut!

I agree with the comments made about the pouring shield.
Depending on your reasons for using the cricut I would suggest:Everyday Paperdolls, Dressup Paperdolls, Doodlecharms and my all time favorite Create a Critter. If you ever need ideas or inspiration check out mypinkstamper.com-she is a-mazing!! Merry Christmas!

  5. I love the dressup paperdolls and everyday paper dolls….I use them all the time with my kids. I wish they had more font cartridges!

  6. I actually recommend getting the Sure cuts Alot software so you don’t need cartridges you can use fonts and svg files from the internet…love it!

    • Oh that makes me happy that such things exist. That was my dilema between the silhoutte and the Cricut. Do they sell it with the cartridges? Oh Happy Day!

  7. I would never buy the cricut brand vinyl from the stores. It is super expensive, and if you go to a sign/embroidery shop they almost always have a HUGE bin of vinyl scraps!!! FOR CHEAP :)

  8. I don’t like my pouring sheild either LOL. However I am using the EXACT mouse you listed (yep, in red!) and I love it. it’s great for small hands, and clicking doesn’t require hardly any force at all, I think you’ll really love it :)

  9. I love the Lyrical Letters cartridge. It has a lot of fonts and you can alter their thin/thickness etc so there are tons of options!
