{Giveaway} Why I LOVE Swagbucks!

Guess what came in the mail today?  Everything you see above!  And the best part?  It was FREE!  Thanks to the FREE $50 Amazon.com gift card I was able to redeem with my Swagbucks points.  What am I talking about?  What are Swagbucks?

Swagbucks  is a virtual currency that you earn on Swagbucks.com by doing the things you do every day – searching the web, shopping at your favorite retailers, submitting polls, and completing special offers.

    I would choose my grandma’s beach cottage in Rosarita Beach! Just me, the beach and the salty ocean!

  2. Oh boy! I think I would choose having my whole house to myself for one full day! I could take a nap, watch a movie, catch up on cleaning, exercise, and then take another nap:) That would be super awesome! I love my kids and my amazing husband but a day to myself in my house, would be great!

    I think I would choose the cabin in Clear Creek that my father built and my parents owned for about 10 years. We used to spend every Christmas there. We would cut down our own tree from the woods on our property, string popcorn and make construction paper chains to decorate the tree. We shared so much there as a family. My dad passed about 8 years ago and I would just love to have the opportunity to go there and just relax and remember.

  7. It’s a toss up between Seal Beach and Disneyland. My girls and I went to both for our vacation this year and it was magnificent! but I could deal without the crowds. 🙂

  11. My grandma’s house in Weston, Idaho. After she passed away in 2006 my grandpa sold it and moved in with my mom (he passed away in 2010). We used to travel there from Kansas when I was a kid and it’s one of my favorite places. We moved to Idaho when I was a teenager and visited her every two weeks or so. I haven’t been back since my grandma died because someone else owns it so it’s not the same. I do have one condition though, my grandma and grandpa have to be there too! I miss them so much…

  12. Disneyland with my family! I might even be able to convince my husband its a good vacation destination if I promised him no lines!

  13. I would love to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. I’ve never been, but it’s so beautiful and they won’t even let photos be taken inside. I would just run around pretending I was a princess all day – exploring the nooks and crannies.

  14. A day with just me and my hubby! It’s been too long and I’d love to just do “nothing” with him all day long without any work, kid, or everyday life worries.

  15. I would love to have my husband alone at Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii. We spent our honeymoon in Kauai about 18 years ago but didn’t actually spend any time on the beach.

    I’d like to be on the beach, watching the waves, walking in the sand, watching the sunset, throwing sticks to the dogs, agate hunting, feeding the seagulls, exploring the lighthouses, roasting smores or brats over a campfire, etc….

  24. I was going to say something like an entire bag of BBQ lays without having to share with little fingers … but really that makes me sound shallow! How about a warm fire, cozy couch and a good book! (And just maybe some bbq lays in there somewhere…)

    I would want to have free access for just me to an Amusement park like Six flags or Disneyland and to be able to just go up to any ride and ride for as long as I wanted without waiting for anyone in lines. Thanks for the giveaway!

  32. I know it said object or place but I am going to consider a person and object. I would want to spend an entire day with Robert Marzano. I just graduated with a Secondary Math Education degree and I am about to start teaching. Robert Marzano is a leading author in the education realm and just an amazing educator in general. I would love to be able to pick his brain and learn as much as I can that would help me to be a successful teacher and help me know how to positively impact as many students as I can.

  45. Generally, I would say on the stretch of beach from Kaanapali to Kahana in Maui as I used to get my morning walks there and it’s awesome. But at the moment, i would love to be with all of my family at my grandma’s.

    When I was 20 I spent a week in Maui with a friend. My favorite place on earth so far is a bamboo forest there that led up to the Seven Devils Falls. It was so beautiful and peaceful and I would love to be able to share it with my husband and my two boys.

  56. the one place i would like to myself for one day would be the living room with the DVR in it. I have shows recorded that I like to watch,but don’t get to because the kids have the tv on or are playing games on that tv. I have missed the past year of Criminal Minds 🙁

  62. My one place I would want all to myself would be the Mall of America…I would shop all day long!! And ride all the rides ..feed the sharks and try on as many shoes as I could!!

  69. I would choose my house too…..I do not know why I was so surprised to see that answer so many times.
    About a year and a half ago my Honey took our girls to see Green Bay packers play a home game and I was left alone…..well, had to work most of those days but still had 4 days just for me. I decided to not cook no matter what…..by the time they were headed back I was down to reddi whip can and some sunflower seeds….(obviously I wasn’t couponing and didn’t have the impressive stock pile I have now 🙂
    I was a bliss……but only because I knew they will be back!

  70. hmm all by myself.seems so lonely without my best friend/husband. I wouldn’t want to do most spectacular things without him.OOOoo how about a grocery store with no other customers for one big coupon trip.no rush.no guilt holding up others.no products missing from the shelf.awhh amazing.

  74. I would love to visit Paris without all the crowds. The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, etc. with no people would be fabulous!!

  76. I think half the fun of going to special places is because of the crowd. I love to people watch and am constantly amazed by all the different people living in the world. The one object I would want to myself is my best friend. She and I could have a blast spending an afternoon together, anywhere, just watching the world go by.

  77. I would have my own private day on a Caribbean island with me, a horse and a towel. I could ride until I was tire then just crash on the towel and bake in the sun! What a peaceful splendid day.

  82. My bed! I have 5 small children and never get enough sleep because someone is always crawling into my bed. While I love cuddles with my little ones (as well as my dear sweet husband), I LONG to have my bed all to myself for just one day. 🙂

  90. I have to agree with all those saying I’d love to have my house to myself for a day. I’m surprised that with all the advice people gave me in my third trimester (to cherish sleep, time with my husband, etc.) no one mentioned that I should have savored those days alone in my house with time to vacuum, organize a closet, catch up on bills, or (on a good day) even read a book or watch a show.

    I would have enjoyed free time by myself just recently, until i had to spend a whole month by myself with out my husband or 3 year old. I have to say it was a nice couple of days until there was nothing. I had no one that needed me and no one that i had to talk to. I left the the television on just to hear some sort of noise. So if i could bring my family It would have to be McCAll idaho. at the beach near my grandparents cabin. Just spending time playing and making sand castles with my daughter and going for boat rides around the lake. So peace ful in the evening when it is all quite and then a midnight stroll where all you see is the moon lite takes your breath away some days. I miss it so much.

  107. I would choose Disneyland. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon 1 year ago and we left our son with my mom. Ever since, my son (4 years old) has been wanting to go so bad. After all the magical moments I had there with my husband, I would LOVE to be able to have the whole park to ourselves so we could have all those wonderfully magical moments with our son!!
