FREE Prescription Glasses!

June 15, 2011 15 Comments | Disclosure

That’s right, FREE prescription glasses!

What’s the catch, you ask?

That’s what I thought too, but I tried it and there is no catch.  They just want you to try ordering glasses in a whole new way.  You only pay shipping and handling, I think mine was about $15.  That’s pretty FAB for new glasses that usually cost over $100-$200!  The quality is great and the complete set of glasses comes with a hard protective case, a cleaning cloth and a tiny screwdriver thing.  There are tons of styles to choose from, even designer glasses!  I LOVE THIS DEAL!

Here is the pair I got for my daughter, you can’t see it in the picture, but there is a cute design and glittery jewels on the side stems.

How do you get yours?

  • Thursday, June 16 at 9:00 PDT, they are giving away another 10,000 pair!
  • Go to Coastal Contact FB page and like them
  • Click on the link that says “Free Glasses USA”
  • You will see a coupon code that you can enter in on their website at checkout.
  • Go to Coastal Contacts.com and shop for your favorite frames ( I would do this early and pick out a couple, just in case)
  • Make sure you have your current glasses prescription ready.
  • At the time of the sale, select your glasses, enter your presciption, and use the code at checkout, pay the shipping and handling and you’re done!
  • The amazing thing is… if you don’t totally love them, you can return them for a new free pair.  They even pay the shipping!  Love it!

  1. This seems way too good to be true! I can’t wait to pick some out! Thank you!

  2. I got my glasses! They were awesome! However for this deal you have to be a new customer or use a friends address!

  3. I am so excited about this, my son needs new glases!!!

  4. how do you know which glasses will be offered for free?

  5. I saw this deal the other day and was SO hesitant. Even though they sent me an email stating they were only charging me for shipping and handling (16$) I was STILL hesitant, it seemed too good to be true. I’m SO GLAD I hit that final confirmation button after having the internal conflict of “should I do it? This can’t be real, i’m going to be charged full price” Nope. I wasn’t. Glasses will be here in a couple of days :D

  6. Thanks for the heads up. My sister has done this offer twice so far and loves both pairs! Time I break down and find my Rx…

This sounds amazing when I went to the facebook page though it said
The giveaway starts at: 9am PDT on June 23rd

so do I check tomorrow or guessing have to wait till the 23rd?

    • Oh, I hope it’s the 23rd!! My two girls have eye appointments tomorrow and my hubby and other daughter next week!!

  8. I totally did this a few months ago, and I am thrilled with the results. The glasses I got were perfect, and I’ve just about given up my contacts because they’re so great. The best part is the return policy – it’s nice to know that if the glasses don’t work on your face, you’re not toast. I’d definitely recommend doing this to anyone. Word to the wise, though. Have a few pairs picked out before the check out time comes. Traffic on their website will pick up like mad and the site will be slow, and your one pair might sell out, so be patient and have a back up plan.

  9. When I went to website it says June 23rd? Not today was this a type error for the 16th?

  10. Melissa says:

this couldnt have come at a better time my sons glasses just broke and i hope hope hope this deal works becuase 16 dollars is so much better that a couple hundred ;)

  11. April Shrum says:

Bummer, my lenses are to high powered to get the free ones, with the free cupon the total was still $97 :(

  12. It was today ordered a pair, only cost 16 for ship and handeling , yey!

  13. It was today, but it sounds like from some of the comments they might be doing it again on the 23rd.

I got my son a pair, he is terribly nearsighted so I had to pay for the high index lenses, but still it was $90 and we typically pay $300 for a pair of glasses for him because his correction is so bad. Plus if they don’t work I can send them back.

    • So, I’m getting ready to do this tomorrow… AND, I was wondering… did they make you, or did you opt to? I’m about a -10.5 on my glasses (yep, blind as a bat!), and I’ll be ordering contacts at the same time, BUT I only wear glasses from the time it takes me to get from the bathroom to the bed and from the bed back to the bathroom in the morning, so I don’t care if they are 1/2 an inch think…
