What are you finding at Fred Meyer this week?

  1. Nice! I like the way you matched up the deals with Freddie’s ltc coupons & the Barbara’s Puffins cereal with the Ibotta offer. Really helps!!

Also, LOVE the produce coupon this week.

    Thank you!

  2. Hi there! Where did the online produce coupon come from? I got one in the mail a while back but already used it. So happy to see it again! Thanks.

  3. Are you sure I can stack two FM coupons (cole slaw)? I recently tried to do that with a different promotion, and they said I had to pick. Is this somehow different? is there something in writing I can show them, if they try not to allow it? Thank you.

    • The coleslaw coupon is a Dole manufacturer coupon, and then you can stack with the store $2 off a $6 purchase comes off. In this case it is a manufacturer and store coupon so it works.

      • But the pears coupon and the $2/$6 produce purchase worked together in my transaction too.

        • Oh man, it was so exciting! I knew I’d have problems with these stupid codes, so I immediately spoke with the manager and had him help me.
Yoplait Greek Yogurt, Blended – free (Friday); Birds Eye Frozen Gn Beans – free (last Friday); Fajitas seasoning, marked 50% off; 2 Barbara’s Puffins cereal (tastes like a lighter Cinnamon Toast Crunch); 2 1/2 lbs Navals; 2 1/4 lbs D’Anjou pears; 1 1/2 lbs broccoli crowns; lettuce; coleslaw ($0.88 bag — Dole was $2); Heinz ketchup; Grands biscuit (husband wanted); Manwich (husband wanted)
          – all for $14!!!!!!
This was my best shopping excursion yet. I moved from a “double coupon” state — all coupons 99 cents or less automatically doubled — and yet tonight I got a savings of 47%!!!!!! YAY! I never could have done it without you.
All I can say is, THANK YOU. You helped feed our family.

  4. I have a question about iBotta type programs and cell service. I don’t have a cell phone, but I keep seeing these programs that save money *if* you have a cell phone. Do the deals work out to justify a phone, or am I better off just going without these great deals?

    • Checkout 51 is one that works without a cell phone. You do however have to take a pic of your receipt & upload it online. Might try it though if you can make it work. May give you an idea if it’s worth it to by cell phone or not. Can’t imagine it would justify the cost of cell phone, but at least you would get a feel for how it works.

    • Checkout 51 is the only one I can think of that works without a smartphone, but like Patti said you do have to upload a picture of your receipt online.

      • Thank you, everybody. I’ll try Checkout 51.
I heard of this one program where you get points just for walking into certain listed stores, even more points for scanning certain products. Not too shabby.

  5. I checked a few Freddie’s and none had and snackimal cereal, not even a place for them to be stocked. Where did you find it?

  6. I checked a few Freddie’s and none had and snackimal cereal. Where did you find it?

  7. Shopped today. Sign on the gift cards that 4 x’s fuel reward points on gift card purchases 3/23 through 4/19 (or 4/20, but I think 19.) Think this is a great way to rack up fuel points.
I know the last time I mentioned this though it didn’t seem to be working for everyone. But check. If you could use a gift card for something, might as well rack up the fuel points.
