  1. I went to Fred Meyers yesterday and saw that they had a BOGO Free sale for the Odwalla Smoothie drinks. I have 4 coupons so I got 4 items and the cashier wouldn’t let me use 4 of the coupons stating I could only use 2 because I can’t use the other two toward the items that are already free. Is that right or is the cashier wrong. I thought you could do that if that was a store deal. There was was no coupon needed for the BOGO FREE. I couldn’t find any Fred Meyer policy around that.

    • Oh by the way the coupons I had for the drinks came in the this last Wednesday’s SS insert $0.55/1.

    • Don’t know “official” FM policy on using coupons on B1G1F, but I have had the cashier tell me the same thing. Not much help on that, sorry! But at least you know someone else was told the same.

What’s currently driving me nuts is the limit of 2 IP coupons. That policy, imo, is unreasonable.

    • You are right they do not address that issue specifically in their coupon policy and they do leave a lot of discretion up to the individual managers. I have never had a problem doing that type of a transaction but I have heard of others that have. I guess it is a your mileage may vary situation at FM.
