Fraudulent Huggies Coupon

March 31, 2012 9 Comments

We had this coupon forwarded to us today by email. It looks like it has been circulating around for several weeks. It is a fraudulent coupon, as you can see that it listed on the CIC Counterfeit list.

If you use these coupons the store will not be reimbursed for them. They are not manufacturer distributed coupons so your store will not be reimbursed, your store will lose money. Ruining couponing for all of us. You can read more about how to detect a fake coupon here. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE COUPONS.

Thank you for protecting the integrity of couponing!

  1. yes fake coupons are bad, very bad. I live in a small town with only one main grocery store that isnt nation/statewide. They stopped accepting internet coupons because they were getting to many fake coupons.

  2. I can’t remember where I read about someone questioning another customer using this coupon to buy diapers. Even that person who was questioning it thought it was fishy but the coupon took. This is why its getting harder to coupon with all the new restrictions and the stores being wary accepting coupons.

  3. How do they get away with this. My first thought was, why would anyone want to make these? How does it Benifit them? It just makes me angry that anyone would want to ruin this for us and for wanting to cheat the store! Thank you for the heads up on this, good to know your spreading the word!

the reason people make these is to use them and then turn around and sell them on craigslist or whatever. They don’t care about your coupon community and care even less that they are committing fraud. Just a response to your question about “why” they are doing it.
