Each year we’ve made an effort to do something to give back to the community. This year we are pleased to partner with Stand Up America as Stand-Up Idaho launches on September 28th, 2013!
We’re sure you’re asking…
why is Stand-Up America important to the Fabs?
We are standing up against drug and alcohol use, bullying, gang involvement, childhood obesity, distracted driving and other ills plaguing families in our community!
It started just this past November.
Derrick Boles, Founder and CEO of StandUp America, put a call to action for all communities across the country to “Stand -Up”! Stand- Up against drugs and alcohol use, bullying, gang involvement, childhood obesity, distracted driving and other ills plaguing our families. Derrick launched this movement by riding 1,892 miles across America from SanDiego, CA to New Orleans. The Stand-Up America movement has touched various communities in different states.
Now it’s IDAHO’s turn!!!
Stand-Up Idaho will launch on September 28, 2013 with a community bike ride to raise funds. Dollars raised will be 100% reinvested back into the community. How awesome is that!?!? This will be a fun family friendly event!
When: September 28, 2013
Where: Idaho Center Amphitheatre, Nampa, Idaho
Who: Mayors of Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell, Kuna and Middleton, along with other community and business leaders will lead the ride.
Register here to get in on the ride, or just come to the free event (see info below).
We are calling YOU to take the first step towards “Standing-Up” by participating in this event with us!
You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy local talent on the amphitheater stage and listen to the powerful message by Milton Creagh (you might remember him from “Enough is Enough”) and the Challenge to Stand-Up by Derrick Boles.
Stand-Up Idaho will change lives. Please join us.
