Navajo Tacos

1 FAMILY

12 Frozen Rhodes Texas rolls

1 lb ground beef

1 (15 oz) can pinto beans

1 packet taco seasoning

2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

on hand:

Vegetable Oil for frying rolls

2 c. shredded lettuce

2 med tomatoes, diced

1 med onion, chopped

1 c. sour cream

1 c. salsa


6 FAMILIES

72 Frozen Rhodes Texas rolls

6 lbs ground beef

6 (15 oz) cans pinto beans

6 packets taco seasoning

12 c. shredded cheddar cheese


TO FREEZE: Brown ground beef, adding taco seasoning per packet. Place in bag. Place cheese in small bag and place in bag with rolls.


TO PREPARE: Heat beef and add pinto beans, heating completely. Thaw rolls and work into 6 in. circles, fry each side in vegetable oil at 375° until golden brown. Place desired amount of beef and bread and top with various on-hand toppings.
