These gourmet cheesy spinach burgers are a favorite burger for family BBQ’s. So I am bringing this recipe up from our archives. It is so simple to make these for freezer cooking. You simply make the patties and freeze them. Then you can quickly cook them up on dinner night. I like that I can sneak some spinach in these burgers and give my kids some extra vitamins. I have been making these burgers for years and my children never complain about the green spinach inside because they taste sooooo good. I make them with cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese. This week the Tillamook cheddar load is on sale at Fred Meyer so be sure to pick some up when you are out shopping this week.
Ingredients for Cheesy Spinach Gourmet Burgers
½ envelope Lipton recipe secrets onion soup mix
1 lb ground beef
½ package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
½ c. shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (4 oz)
