Get organized with the DUO 2-in-1 Organizer!

Ever feel like ads, inserts, policies and coupons can add up to a lot of paper to keep organized? I think we can all relate!  The good news is, there are several different methods to keeping things orderly and functional, one of which is the binder method. Here is a brief break down of how this method works + a review of a helpful tool, the Duo 2-in-1 organizer.

I have been couponing for several years now. I’ve tried using the accordian file, the envelope system, the binder method (with baseball card pages), the clipless organization and most recently… the shove it in your purse and hope you can find it later system. All of these methods have their pros and cons. It usually takes trial and error to figure out which one fits you best and the level of couponing you want to take on at that particular time. At the moment, I have a lot on my plate in life but not to much that I want to cut couponing out completely. You could say I am in a “light” couponing phase.  I don’t have time for a huge binder stuffed with baseball card holders, and the small accordian file just doesn’t hold quite enough. Here is my personal solution; I use the filing sytem in a file drawer at home, then I scan the ads each week, plan my shopping trip then clip only the coupons I know I will use + a few favorites and quickly file them away (usually in an envelope, stuffed in my purse) for my next trip to the store. This works for the most part, BUT, that envelope takes a beating sometimes or I just plain lose it…

SO, imagine my excitement when I was contacted about trying out the  DUO 2-in-1 Organizer! They’ve combined a 7 pocket expanding file folder + 1 inch 3 ring binder. It’s perfect for “light” duty couponing, not to mention a whole load of other tasks!

Duo Binder Open File

I have my expanding file organized based on what I use/do the most. I store my coupons, shopping lists, policies and any other loose inserts here. This way it keeps it simple and I can easily find what I need.

The 1 inch, 3-ring binder section is my favorite part of the whole organizer. I just 3 hole punch the ads and plop ‘em right in there! It’s awe-some! No more loose pages or fumbling around trying to hold the ad up. Some of the ads stick out past the edge of the binder but this is easily solved by simply folding them over then closing up the binder. The 2 seperate elastic straps do a wonderful job keeping everything nice and cozy inside.

Overall, the Duo 2-in-1 Organizer is a great option for light couponing and other tasks such as organizing scrapbook materials, school work, bills, projects, important documents and lots more! I really like how lightweight and simple it is, plus the bright green makes it easy to find quickly! :) Thanks to the DUO, I now have a way to nicely store my coupons, ads and inserts I want to carry back and forth to the store without feeling like I’m hauling a third child or digging through the dark depths of my purse!

In some colors, Amazon is listed as a secondary buyer option on the right hand side of the product page (and says 1-2 months shipping). This is bug the seller is working to get fixed.  All products can be purchased from Amazon with Free Shipping (Prime Program) and will ship this week.

This is a sponsored post. I was given a free sample to try and review. All opinions are my own.
