Coupon Tip Tuesday: Printing Coupons

coupon help, tipsDid you know you can print coupons off the internet? YOU CAN! And aside from the paper and ink, it’s FREE!

Our favorite place to find coupons to print is coupons.com. They have 15-20 pages of coupons, up to 200 coupons available for printing.

A few things to note:

  1. First time printing?? You will have to download a coupon printer. This is a completely safe download, so don’t be alarmed. You will just need to follow the simple instructions. After you download and install the “coupon printer”, if it still says you need to “install the coupon printer”, then try closing your browser and opening it again. In some cases, you may need to restart your computer. If you’re still having issues, try using a different browser (ie: Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, or Google Chrome).
  2. Coupons.com (and in most other cases any printable coupon site) will allow you to print each coupon twice. On coupons.com, once you have printed a coupon twice it will appear on the last page of the website and have a “PRINT LIMIT REACHED” notice on the coupon.
  3. Sometimes we will let you know that a coupon has been “reset“. This means that the limit has been removed and you will be able to print the coupon two more times.
  4. New coupons will arrive at the beginning of each month. We will remind you when they do on our website.
  5. Expiration dates: Most of them expire 1 month after you print… although some do expire sooner!
  6. At the end of the month: You will want to be sure to print any coupons you may still want because in a few days they will either be gone or you will be able to print them two more times. Giving you 4 coupons instead of two.
  7. Saving paper: Print your coupons on the back of scratch paper. Remember that you can print 3 coupon per page. So I usually print in groups of three in order to use the whole sheet of paper.

Hi – I’d love to get added to your email reminder.

    Love your site!

    • Danielle –

Are you talking about getting the daily email with all of our posts from the day before? If so, just go here to sign up… we can’t add you ourselves.

  2. Do you print all the coupons? Or just the ones for products you normally buy? Or…?

  3. Megan-

I print any coupon I think I might want to use. They reach a print limit very quickly sometimes and if you snooze you loose. Speaking of, I better get prining. :)

  4. iJustCoupd! says:

Google Chrome is all that I use and I have always been able to print coupons from numerous sites just fine.

  5. When there is a date at the end of a deal/coupon is that for when that coupon was found? For example, I’m looking at PYP shpping lists and they say something about the deal, then Group A 8/18. Does that mean that coupon was found on the group A online printable coupons on 8/18? I think you have these dates on your shopping list too? I’m just trying to figure all of this out and I am clipping coupons for the first time today, so it looks like most of the deals don’t apply to me because I don’t have the previous weeks coupons. Is that correct?

  6. Kasey-

Group A is coupons.com I believe the 8/18 is the date it appeared on coupons.com.

We do not list dates for the printable coupons only for the insert coupons.

You may not have some of the insert coupons we have listed if you just started collecting coupons.

  9. I really could use some advice!! I’m brand new to couponing and need to know which printer i should purchase? i’m so confused on whats most important… My family is on a budget so I would like to not have to spend a ton but i have read if I don’t get a good one my coupons wont scan? What type of printer do you ladies use?
Thanks so much for any help :)

  10. How can I get my laptop to print coupons? My home computer can print but cant seem to get my lap top to print. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  11. Michelle says:

Can the coupons be in black and white or do I need to use a color printer for the store to except them?
    Thank you! :)

  12. I love the info found on this website. It makes it so insightful for a beginner like me. I would love to be added to your email list. I have two main questions and I was hopefully looking for some clarification…. First, in the general couponing world most coupons have fine print that say one coupon per customer or per transaction. How strict are stores about this? I always see so many people buying multiple items (Ex. 10 crest toothpastes) ANd my second question pertains to Coupons.com…. The other day my friend and I shared a computer to print from coupons.com and I signed in under my name and printed certain coupons and she proceeded after me to sign into her name and was told she was over her limit on coupons. Is the coupon printer limit set per computer or per email login name?

  13. Can you print two coupons per computer or per printer? I have one computer that is hooked to two different printers, so would I be able to print 4 coupons?

  14. do all of the coupon sites, coupons dot com, redplum.com, smart source.com, update their coupons only once a month At the beginning of the month?

    • Nope, they update them all the time, usually in conjunction with the weekend inserts, but as often as every day, especially for coupons.com
