Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies

Attention peanut butter/chocolate lovers! No need to heat up the oven to make these little piles of chocolatey goodness! This is especially nice during the summer time when it’s already hot outside. They’re quick, easy and oh so addicting!

Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbs. cocoa powder
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 Tbs. vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
  • Waxed paper or Silpat

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar, cocoa, butter and milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. Let boil for 1 minute while stirring frequently. Add in the peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. Stir again to combine everything really well. On a sheet of wax paper or a Silpat, drop mixture by the teaspoonfuls, (I like to use a rounded ice cream scoop) and let sit until cooled and hardened.
  2. Enjoy!
