Paul’s deals for 12/15 thru 12/21
Pauls has some pretty good stuff worth mentioning this week! You can also view their circular here.
One of the reasons we do not blog about Paul’s much is they do not take printable coupons and you can not get many of their good deals with out building up redemption points.
No star – Good price – you may as well pick it up while you are there. If you need it.
★- means prices are better than generic/wholesale/mass store prices, buy a few if you need it!
★ – means this is when we stock up!!!

F.A.B. Shopping at Albertsons!
Shop now or Round Up this weekend?
So, the question on everyone’s mind is: Shop Albertsons now, or wait till Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and shop with round ups (if Boise gets them again). I would suggest both! I got a fantastic deal today, and can’t wait to go back on Sunday and get it again!
I did this in 2 transactions, and I had to do a little on the fly thinking, because some of my coupons didn’t work for the items that were on sale, but I still think I did okay. The 2nd transaction can be free, if you don’t buy milk (but we were out, and it was on sale). I do have access to 2 computers to print coupons, and that helped a lot with this.
Transaction #1-
Buy 9 Green Giant Box Vegetables with Sauce, 7-10 oz $1.00
Buy 6 Pillsbury Breadsticks, Loaves or Pizza Crust $2.00
Buy 2 Yoplait Delights $2.50
Buy 3 Chex Mix $1.50 (the only ones that I saw NOT on sale were the Dark Chocolate and the Truffle)Instant Savings: $10 from the General Mills Buy 10 get $5.

Transaction #2-

Buy 3 Green Giant Box Vegetables with Sauce, 7-10 oz $1.00
Buy 4 Totino’s Pizza Rolls $1.00
Buy 2 Gallons Milk $1.99Instant Savings: $5 from the General Mills Buy 10 get $5.

$.50/1 Chex Mix
$1/2 Chex Mio
$.60/3 Green Giant Box Vegetables
$1/2 Totino’s Pizza Rolls
$.40/2 Totino’s Pizza RollsTotal: $6.98
Use $3 Cat from Trans#1

Total Savings: $69.50
Total Spent: $14.98
Total Items Purchased: 32

So, today I used mostly $1 coupons, saving my smaller ones for possible round ups this weekend, which would allow me to do this all again, and save even more!
Quick Paul’s Note:
My Paul’s ad came today (Sale runs Wed-Tues), and Totino’s Pizzas are $.68 cents with 6 point redemption. Match up with $1/5 from Coupons.com, Smart Source, or Betty Crocker and you get pizza for $.48 each!! (as long as you have 30 points to redeem).

Pepsi Deal at Walgreens
I’m not sure if this is happening at every Walgreens, but the brand new one on Five Mile and Lake Hazel has Pepsi 12 packs 4/$8, and THEN a $5 Register Reward!! (they ring up $2.50 each, and they use 2 $1 manufacturer coupons they have at the register) So 4/$3!!!!
I think all the other Walgreens have it 4/$12, then a 4 RR… so this is FANTASTIC!!! 75 cents for a 12 pack!!! (you do have to buy 4). They are down to just Pepsi and Diet Pepsi, but expect the truck to come with more early Friday.
Thanks Becky!

We also got an email from Emily letting us know of a situation she encountered that is definitely worth passing on:
I just wanted to pass along some info from my Albertsons. I adore my 7th & 12th store and while I was there one of my favorite checkers told me 2 ladies continued to come into the store and take peelies (off Chinet paper plates, I think) and leave the store with them. They were finally caught and asked NOT to return to the store. My checker wanted me to pass the info along to all my blog friends and let them know they are super unhappy about it. She went on about how they lose money, how dishonest it is, and how shocked she was to hear that women do it. I just wanted to share the news because I love my Albertsons and would be crushed if I was told never to return.
Thanks Emily for the reminder. I wouldn’t want to be asked not to return either, and my favorite checker EVER works at that store…I bet it’s the same one!
