Black Friday at Walgreens {Rolling Rewards and Making Money!}
My mom dragged me out at 9 pm to go Black Friday shopping. Or I might have dragged her 
. Either way, we hit Walmart where we witnessed fist fights over video games and cheap towels, Toys R Us, where even more than 2 hours after opening the store was still wrapped with people waiting to get it, Kohl’s where we stood in line for over an hour to get in, shopped for 10 minutes and then stood in line for over an hour to check out, Target where the line to check out was wrapped around the store THREE times (so we just grabbed a soda from the Cafe and took off), and Walgreens. We had a blast and 6 hours later I had showed her the basics on how to coupon!
Even though we got to Walgreens by about 2 am, LOTS of the items I wanted were gone, so I had to improvise my list, my transactions, and my purchases. But all in all, it was a great, profitable trip!
I’m going to put in italics what I had planned to have happen, just in case your store isn’t all out you can still get the stuff we missed! There were also a couple of items that I wasn’t interested in, so they didn’t make my shopping list!

I had planned on getting Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste 4 oz $2.50, using a $1/1 coupon, and paying $1.50 to have a $1 moneymaker. However, my Walgreens was all out, and I didn’t have my coupon binder with me, so I paid FULL PRICE for Colgate!

I was planning on doing a three item transaction, the GUM Deep Clean Toothbrushes 2 pk $2.00, Advil PM Pain Relief 4 ct $0.99 and Gillette Venus Razor System, ProSkin 2 in 1 or Spa Breeze $8.24, but my store was out of the toothbrushes and Advil. So doing some quick calculating, I added a Colgate Toothpaste to my last transaction, making it look like this:
