  1. Was in Eagle ALB tonight. Next to the Kellog’s cereal was a large sign that said “buy 3 Kellogs cereal, get gallon of milk free”. This could further sweeten the Movie promotion deal but it didn’t seem to list details. Any idea on this — need a coupon? is it a Catalina or do you get the milk immediately? Trying to make plans for Monday shopping.

    • We had a reader write in about this. Judging from what each of you are saying. I am guessing you get a free milk catalina. Anyone that finds out more tomorrow let us know!

      • I think I am the one who emailed you about it. It didnt’ print out a catalina for me and I totally forgot about it at the register. However, when I got home and realized I didn’t get it, I called the store and they had me come in to fix it. They ended up just giving me the gallon of milk right then and there. The sign by the cereal said “a gallon of free milk on your next visit”. Sooo, I’m not really sure exactly how it is SUPPOSED to work, but they were nice about fixing it. Also, my albies had free re-usable shopping bags with the cute retro Kellogg’s characters on them (the tucan, frog and tiger) or free melamine kids cereal bowls that were free when you bought 2 boxes of cereal.

  2. Am I the only one not finding the Banquet Pot Pie coupon? The only one I saw was for the fruit pies in the 10/25 SS. I got some of those last week but would really like to get cheap pot pies. They are great for snacks.

  3. Anyone have Darigold Singles Milk $1.00/2 Coupons from 9/12 SS they would be willing to trade for some other coupons?

  4. I bought the ziploc bags at Ustick & 5 Mile and no catalina. Customer Service tried to help, but no luck! :(

    • After a few tries last week, we realized it was only on the freezer bags. Did you try those? It wont work on any other bags.

  5. I love your website! I’ve saved a lot of money in the past couple of months using the coupons and the doublers. I’m trying to stay organized, but wow… I feel a little overwhelmed at times. I just used your print button for the first time, (I love this feature!). I generally copy and paste into a word document. I know this isn’t a big deal in the big scope of things, but at the bottom of the 6 pages it printed out it says “about blank”. It would be great if it said the post title or something other than ‘about blank’. Is there a way you can change the wording? Or a way I can change it before it prints?

As I said, I love your website! I appreciate the time you take to put together these matchups. It saves me a whole lotta work!

  6. just got back from Albertson’s. Did the poptart quantity ten to get the movie deals. also got the turkey for .29 cents a pound $5.83 for 21.6 lbs. used my $3.00catalina from the California Kitchen pizzas earlier this week, bought the 10 betty crocker cake mixes, frosting and keebler deal. had another $3.00 of $30 catalina from last week. doubled the poptarts coupons. Saved 25%. spend a total of $23.22 out of pocket, but have the movie tickets in the mail, and another $4.00 catalina from the poptarts. Thank you for helping me save money. wanted to send the recipt copy, but couldn’t figure out how to link it.

  7. The fruit2day didn’t work out – when I printed to coupon it was for 75c off a TWO-pack, and it is the SINGLES that are $1.50 each. My store doesnt even carry the 2pack anymore, but even if they did I doubt it would be the same 1.50 price as the singles are

  8. I couldn’t find the ziplock coupon on, but I did find it in the 10/10 smartsource

  9. Becky Ruths says:

Did everyone see that we get FREE Cake Mix AND Frosting!!!

When you buy ten (4 of your items can’t be doubled)…

    Buy 3 Cakes
    Buy 3 Frostings
    Buy 4 of something else
Use the $.75/1 (when you buy both Cake and Frosting) from 11/14 GM
Double them to get $1.50 off (so they are FREE when you buy 4 other items in the deal).

    • Just another option, depending on what you need. You can also buy 5 of each (cake mix and frosting) and end up paying $1.40 plus tax for all ten items. That is a stock up price for me on these items.

    • there are $1/2 for the brownie mix in the new safeway coupon book along with the cake mix and cookie pouches. so free without doublers so you can double other coupons in the buy 10 deal to get for free. then it’s all free :o)

  10. FYI – as of this afternoon, the Puyallup store was out of the brownie mix, frosting, cookie pouches, and Sierra Mist. :( Anyone know if the Canyon Road or Spanaway stores have these?

    • last night I went to the fife albies and they had lots of brownie mix, cake mix, and frosting. I don’t know about the sierra mist. good luck!

  11. I bought 2 of the McCormick Vanilla and $1.50 Cat printed.

  12. A question – can we do the Kellogg’s movie promo and the instant savings promo in the same transaction? In order for me to get my peanut butter for free (buying rice krispies) I need to put it in the same order as the cereal but in order to get the .99 price for the peanut butter I also need to add 5 more items from the instant savings promo (actually works out well for me). Any thoughts?

    • Hi Cheryl – Yes, you can combine the two promos. The only downfall to that is that you can only use 1 set of doubles… as opposed to separating the transactions and being able to use another set of doubles. But it sounds like this is going to work for you! Great job!

  13. Went to the five mile/overland Albertson’s this AM (monday 11/15). Most frostings are gone (suppose to receive order tonight). Peter Pan Peanut butter is gone, but they are substituting skippy peanut butter.

  14. Tried the ziploc deal on the freezer bags and no catalina printed… now what?? I’ve never had a catalina not print. How do I contact the company or what happens now?? TIA!

  15. I have a question. When I went to the Veteran’s and State Albertsons last night, the cashier told me they had been instructed to no longer keep the doublers at the checkstands and that next time I’d have to bring my own. The cashiers didn’t like it and were trying to fight it. Has anyone else heard this? Is it just the one location? Or is this from corporate?

P.S. She also said they were supposed to be enforcing the limit of three transactions at a time, but I always break mine up that way anyhow.

    • 5&O said the only thing they’ll be doing different is using a NEW set of doubles for each transaction (they were just using one set over and over and over). This way, when they run out, their out. We had a reader email us telling us this same thing (although I think she found this out at one of the Nampa stores).

  16. Are these Albertson’s deals only available in certain areas? I’m in Florida and haven’t seen anything in the paper for this. I’m new to couponing and am trying to learn a little. Thanks for your input.
