Albertsons Double Coupon Deals (or TWICE THE VALUE)

TIPS for shopping with double coupons at Albertsons:

Some of the links in this post are affiliate links… this means if you choose to print some of these coupons, we might make money. Thanks for keeping our site up and running.

★- means the price is better than generic/wholesale/mass store prices!
– means this is when we stock up!!! {aka Extreme Couponing… done right}
No star: If we don’t star an item but it is listed here, that means it is still a decent price. It’s not necessarily better than any competitor’s price, but it will save you a trip across town.

Albertsons Ads vary by region. This ad match-up is reflects deals for the Northwest Region (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, NV, & WY ).

Doubles will be good for an extra day this week, Sunday-Wednesday!  The new ad won’t start until Thursday, July 5th.

Check out a full list of the weekly Albertsons Match-Ups HERE.

  1. Am I missing something? I noticed this last week and this week. Some of the calculations seem to be off. For example the Snapple $4.99 double a $1/1 coupon and final price is $2.49. I would calculate that to be $2.99

    • It’s because it’s part of the buy 10 save $5 instantly promotion. So, when you buy 10 of the participating products, you’re saving .50 per product PLUS you’ll save whatever the value of the coupon and double are. I hope this makes sense. :)

      • Because our new formatting only leaves me 2 places for price, I have to factor in all savings, promo and coupons in final price, as Amy had mentioned. There are ways around that, though, if you guys hate the formatting. Let me know what you think, and if you really would prefer I break it down, I will try and change the way I enter the prices a bit. :)

  2. Nancy H says:

On the Hormel Pork Loin BOGO sale, aren’t you able to use two $1/1 Hormel pork coupon and double them? That would make it $6.50 for both if my math is correct.

    • I think they put it that way because for some reason not every albertsons will let you use a coupon on a free item even though their policy says you can. But your right for those like mine thankfully! that let you use the coupon on the free item that’s what the price will be. I’m stoked we love those tenderloins!

      • You should be able to use a coupon on free item, but per their policy you should not be able to double it. Some stores are still allowing a double coupon on a free item, but it isn’t very honest to do it just because they will let you if you know you are not supposed to do it.

        • Stephanie says:

Where exactly in their policy does it state that you can use a coupon on a free item from a b1g1 sale… I was seemed for trying to use 2 hormel coupons for this exact deal this morning…

          • Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event a transaction balance results in a “credit”, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. We will not provide any “cash back” on coupons; however we will provide full redemption value.

This should apply whether it is a B1G1 or if you have a coupon where the value is higher than the cost of the item.

  3. Those ones that are “off” are in the buy 10, save $5 category. This means that though you CAN get those prices, you will have to buy 10 items to get to that price. Since you can only double 3 coupons per transaction, only 3 of the items can be that price. There are a lot of great items this week that can be used as fillers – like Propel fitness water for $0.50 each, but if you do not use or need these cheap items then you would actually be spending more than you need to and you will save money by just buying the 3 items rather than spending an extra $3.50 on water.

  4. Janette says:

Be careful with the milk coupons. My first two coupons of the month were the only ones that actually worked and my Albertson’s stopped accepting the other ones. I am hoping that when it resets at the beginning of the month we won’t have that problem, just be cautious.

    • I was at the Cherry Lane/Meridian Rd Albies the other night and they are manually putting in the milk coupon. The counterfeit ones are like $1.50 off or something is what my cashier told me. I’ve not had problems using the legit ones… Maybe each Albies is different?

      • I had a problem with the milk coupons at the albertson’s in Pocatello, Idaho. I was so embaressed I will never use a milk coupon again.

        • Melissa says:

My milk coupons on both of my two computers haven’t reset in several months so, I don’t/can’t use them anyways! awesome!

  5. Now that you know the Kikkoman catalina isn’t printing right (see chat box and previous Albertsons posts) maybe you’d want to change it on this post. When a $1 prints intead of a $2 wyb 3, it’s an increase of $.33/bottle. Thanks.

    • I got a $2 cat when I bought 3 kikkoman soy sauce. I did it several times.

      • When? What store? And what size bottle? Thanks!

        • You have to buy the teriyaki sauce ones to get the correct cat. You will get a $1 cat if you buy soy sauce, but you can double them to get them to be a $2 if you only get the $1 cat!

          • I just bought 36 5oz soy sauce(that I preordered and had a raincheck for) and got 12 $2 cat for them. I live in Milton, WA.

            • I kept the original catalina because it does seem that some people are getting the $2. I list the best case scenario in most of the match-ups, so I did not alter it.

  6. is the milk coupon regional? I click on the link and it’s never an option in the coupon list. Do I need to register at that site to get the coupon?

    • The milk coupons are only for UT and ID.

    • I am in Idaho and my no longer has the milk or cheese coupons on there. I scrolled it several times and they just are not there. Not sure why. I tried several different Idaho zipcodes and my tablet that I have never print coupons from before and I could not find them. Good luck!

      • Michelle says:

Did you go to the VERY last page of the coupons? That’s where I often finds ones I have printed previously. Sometimes they’ll say “print limit reached,” but not always! Good luck! :-)

      • I can’t fid it either :(

        • i couldn’t find mine under an idaho zip either, first time that’s ever happened. So i googled Utah zipcodes put one in and it was there! i was gonna have to cry if that coupon was gone!

  7. is the colgate toothpaste hang tags at albertsons? I hope they have more

  8. I am still not finding a coupon for the Wheat Thins on SS. Any ideas? thanks!

    • Hmm, well, here are my suggestions, I don’t know if they will help: are you looking for the Nabisco Cracker or Cookie? Also, if so, try zip codes from Atlanta, Georgia (random, I know!) I found them under that zip too. (You’ll have to google the zip, as I was just typing in random numbers to see what popped up :)

  9. KShauers says:

Is anyone willing to trade coupons, or don’t want their Dr. Pepper coupons? It’s my favoirte and was excited about the deal, till i found out they were not in my TacomaNewsTribue…..please let me know. Thankyou

  10. I am noticing that the Kikkoman coupon for 55cents off of one has a “Do Not Double” print by the expiration date. Does this apply to Albertsons?

    • They will still double even though it says that. It just means the manufacturer will not payout double the coupon value back to the store, so the store just takes the hit on those….so glad they do too!

    • Stephanie says:

Some store will double because the coupon is technically a “twice the value” store coupon. Mine won’t, but I don’t push it, I don’t want to get hung up on a technicality.

      • That’s too bad yours won’t and doesn’t make sense to me. Because in all actuality you aren’t “doubling” anything. You are using a manufactures coupon plus a store coupon on the item. The store coupon being the Twice the Value coupon. It’s just left blank and the value of your coupon is matched on it. In a sense it’s not any different then using say a Target coupon for 1.00 off item x and stacking it with a manufacture coupon for 1.00 off item x. The store is reimbursed the cost of the manufacture coupon but not the store coupon because it’s their discount.

  11. Kristin says:

The weber marinade packet coupons in the paper isn’t for $1/2 it’s only for $0.75/2. So that will not make them free.

  12. Dr. Pepper 12 packs .90 each!!!

    (5) Dr. Pepper 12 packs $12.50 (must buy 5 to get this price)
    – (5) $1/1 from 6/24 SS
    – (3) Dooublers
    = Pay $4.50 (.90 EACH!)

  13. Oh, I forgot to mention .31 moneymaker on Bayer 32 count low dose aspirin. They’re marked $2.69 and use the $3/1 any Bayer aspirin product 20 count or higher from the 6/24 SS.
