  1. Yahoo! love coupon round up

  2. What is your stock up price on cereal? I have’t seen it under $1 in a long time.

    • Thats a good question. My husband just mentioned the other day that we were running out of cereal since he has never seen our stock get so low even though we still have about 25 boxes). That will last us about 2 months, so I have been on the lookout as well, but have been wondering if I need to up my price point.

      • It is hard, I have been willing to go up to about $1. 30, but that is still a good deal.

      • Right now the General Mill cereals are $1.75 when you buy four it will be $7.00 but we have $.50 coupons for the Cocoa Puffs, so with the round ups that’s $4.00 less. So, you will end up paying $3.00 for 4 cereals which is $0.75 each. You can find the Cocoa Puff cereals on

    • I usually go for $1 or less. .75 for cheeriohs is a good price. Lately the cereal I have seen is over $1. If I see .75 or less I would go for it.

    • I ditto what everyone has said! We here at FabFrugal were just talking about how you can’t get cereal free anymore and if you can find it under $1 it’s been a good deal. I don’t have a crystal ball but, I am buying cereal this week. I to am almost out I don’t want to “stock up” but just get some to carry me over. I would say with the way things have been cereal for $1 is a great price! So the kinds that are $.75 I put in a special order for.

    • I’ve been snatching up peelies for $1 off Post cereals to use for future cereal deals and Albies doubler deals. I’ve located these peelies at Safeway, Albies and Fred Meyer in the PDX/Vancouver area and they have an exp. date of 07/13!!

      • How do you “snatch up peelies for future use?” You would need to purchase the product that the peelie is attached to in order to get a peelie coupon.

I have some peelies for $x/2, so I get two coupons when I buy 2 items but then just use one coupon, so I end up with a leftover coupon for future use. Is that what you mean?

      • Please don’t “snatch up peelies” unless you buy the product. This kind of stuff ruins it for all of us I have been Couponing for years and it is sad to see this sort of thing happening. Moderation is the key and playing fair is so important!

    • You are not going to see cereal under a buck very often. The companies are not giving out deals to do so because of the lack of grain crops this year and part of last, so higher prices to pay for the companies to get the grain. If you find it for $0.75, I would stock up if it is a kind you like. All food prices are going up especially meats because of all the shortages and natural disasters that have happen in agriculture these last two years. Yeah, it would be great to get cereal for free but be reasonable just because the price point guide says one price is a good deal does not mean you are going to be able to purchase items at that price in the coming months. Do not start a panic, but do not be suprised as the prices take a big jump.

  3. Albertsons is allowing us to load coupons to our preferred card now through their website. I began the discussion at three local (Nampa, Caldwell) Albertsons this last doubler event as to the possibility of doubling those loaded coupons with a physical doubler. Got a lot of shocked looks and nothing of substance. I now want to know if the manufacture coupons loaded on our preferred cards can be rounded up? Anybody understand what I’m talking about?

    • I understand what you’re saying, but I have no answer.

    • This is the same idea as “savings star” yes they should round and in addition you can use printed coupons.

    • @ Ken, sorry about the delayed response, this is a great question, that I didn’t know the answer to! I popped in to my Albertsons to ask my favorite manager, she said they should round up as long as they are manufacturer coupons. She did say to watch your transaction carefully, though, because if they don’t round up, the cashier can adjust it manually. I know it’s too late for this round-up, but at least we know for next time!

  4. Bounty Basic paper towels $1 use the .25 C off coupon from the 9/30 P&G or the 10/14 P&G to get them free.

    • Stephanie says:

This is one of my favorite deals :)

    • When I went to get my free paper towels on Overland & Vista they were no longer on the shelves. Hopefully they still carry them at other stores. :(

      • I was told this morning that the distribution center may be out! For the past 2 years Albertsons has done round ups in November……. maybe we can all get a few using the 9/30 P&G and then 10/14 P&G in November? We’ll have to see.

  5. Melinda Andrus says:

There was a Cranberry coupon last week for $1/1 to make them just $1 each bag. That’s a great price.

  6. Bounty Basic papertowels is one of my favorite Round-Ups. The other is Charmin if you can find it on the shelves:)

  7. My store no longer carries the single rolls of Bounty Basic either :(

Another deal: Philadelphia Creme Cheese $1.19 -.50 = $.19 each with Round Ups :)

    • Where did you find the Philly coupon?

      • It was in last Sunday’s paper. You can check the coupon database to find any coupon you are looking for.

        • I’m afraid to use cream cheese coupon, because photo and print is pretty clearly stating it’s for tub creeem chesse. Am I being too chicken to try…?

          • The coupon states cream cheese spread and I checked today when I went in and the tub of regular cream cheese does not state spread on it anywhere so i went ahead and used it without any problems. It will probably depend on your checker though.

            • Stephanie says:

I read somebody had their coupon denied on this, but to me that is just being picky.
              All cream cheese spreads!

              • It worked for me today at Hillcrest. They also had some paper towels. There weren’t many left when I was there so YMMV.

  8. On the back page of this weeks insert are the 10 for 10 deals grouped together by what you can mix and match? Or can I get 10 for 10 if I get 4 soups 2 tortillas and 4 cans of tuna?
