  1. Dove is a much better deal at Rite Aid this week.  I picked up 5 items for under $2 after factoring in the $5 +up.  It’s detailed in Mel’s Rite Aid post for the week.

  2. Am I doing the math wrong?  Of can you get 4 Dove shampoos, use 2 BoGo and 2 $0.75 off so you pay $6.28 and get $5 cat back?  $1.28 for 4 shampoos seems good.

    • don’t forget the 2.00/1 from adaperk. you have to buy 5 to get the 5.00 up reward.

    • Melody, sorry, I didn’t do the math and just went off the post-catalina price listed above when comparing to Rite Aid.  Looking at it more closely, I’m not quite sure how the $2.60 post-catalina price listed above was calculated.

At Rite Aid the shampoo and conditioner is $3,50 whereas it’s $3.89 at Albertsons, plus there’s the $2 VV coupon you can use there.  But you do have to buy 5 items at RA to get to $15, whereas at Albertsons you need only buy 4.  So, the prices at the two stores are pretty comparable if you can use both the bogo and the $.75/1 coupon.

You may not be able to use both coupons, however, based on comments on last weeks Albertsons post.  Some commenters were able to use both, but some were not.  But even if you can only use the bogo, it’s still a good deal.  Four for $7.78 minus the $5 cat equals $2.78, or $.69/ea.  If you can use two $.75/1 coupons in addition, then it’s only $.32/ea, as you indicated.  Sweet!

I paid something like $.22/ea for 5 items at RA the other day, so pretty comparable.

    • You are right on Melody!  That’s what I get for doing match ups in the late hours of the night!  Thanks so much… I’ve updated the post!  😀

      • I got 4 products for $6.28 and got the $5 cat just fine.  Not sure why is hasn’t worked for some.  I went to Overland and Orchard in Boise.  However-they were nearly out!

  3. OMG Planter’s Nut-rition bars are so good! They were BOGO at public last week, bought only the Cranberry Almond Peanut Flavor (it’s the only vegan one!) and they sort of taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! So yummy!  ^_^

  4. Melissa Koester says:

Ya you’re right Melody, it’s a great deal. Did it today with doublers on the .75 coupons. You only need to buy 4…comes to $15.56 and you get the $5 Cat.

  5. This week I have had a lot of trouble with Catalinas so I was wondering if I’m doing something wrong.  I bought 4 Dove products yesterday at Albertson’s and did not get my $5 catalina.  They were each $3.89 before coupons. Did I read the promo wrong???

  6. Carolyn H. says:

I am trying to print the Nestle morsels coupon and even though on the website I click on .50/1 it will only print .50/2 any morsels. Just wanted to let you know! :)

  7. JeanMichelle says:

I did the Dove Deal at albertsons because rite aid was sold out, Sad to say at Albertsons in Eagle, to get the Cat, you had to buy 8, The fine print reads after MFC, I still did the Deal, but it is better to do it at Rite Aid I’m going to get a rain Check, for the rest of my coupons. Good Luck!

    • Simpleton says:

Not sure what Eagle store you were at, I tried at the one on McMillan/Eagle and no catalina  and after insisting I get my coupons back as they didn’t want to give them to me ( I was at self checkout so they did not have to open the register to get them) , I got them and then went to the State/Eagle Albies and got my catalina with only 4, did 2 transactions and got catalina both times. I guess it varies from store to store obviously.

    • Hi JeanMichelle,

All the promos at Albertsons states aft MFC, but should work before them. I have shopped at Albertsons for years and have always received the Catalinas before MFG. I have done the Dove promo 4 times and purchased 4 ($3.89 each), used 2 BOGO free coupons and 2 $.75 off coupons. I paid $6.28 + tax and received a $5 CAT for each transaction.

      • i just tried the Dove promo in Caldwell and didn’t receive the $5 cat before the MFC!!!  It stated right in the Ad that the $15 dollars was AFTER MFC!  Oh well better than paying full price!

  8. I don’t think that Idaho got the .40/2 Campbell’s coupons. Mine are just for .40/4. Still not a terrible price but wish we had gotten the others.

  9. Ijustcoupd! says:

Am I going crazy or did Idaho not get the Starbucks coupon in the SS on 9/11/11?

    • Bummer, I don’t think we did:

  10. My McMillan/Eagle store had peelie coupons on the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies for free marshmallows when you buy two cereals.

  11. I can’t seem to find the Kellogg’s coupons.  Was it a regional coupon?

    • Hi Bobette,

Sorry I didn’t have time to cross reference this list: to see if we got it or not.  Looks like ID did NOT get it.  Boo!  Hopefully there are some good printable Kellogg’s coupons though!

    • Did you check out the Kellogg’s coupon printables? The kelloggs insert coupons must have been regional b/c I DO NOT see them on the Idaho list:

We try to mark those but sometimes miss them. Sorry about that. Next time you are wondering if Idaho got that coupon you can find the list by going to the navigation bar… hover over “printable coupons” then hover over “coupon database” then you will see a fly out for “master coupon list” that will take you to the link I gave you above and you can check for the coupon you are looking for.

  12. Thanks for letting us know Bobette I will update the post!

  13. Yeah, it must be the long timer reader, first time poster treatment.  Thanks.

  14. Seriously…Who took all the campbells chicken noodle soup @ T.F Albies by noon today, and was it really necessary to clear the entire shel?  Not cool imho.

  15. Does anyone know if the DiGiorno pizza sale ends this sunday (10/11)?

  16. My Albies in Boise would not accept the Townhouse & Pop-Tarts Mini coupons printed off the Snack-picks and Kelloggs site because they were “missing a bar code” and would not scan.  Anybody else have this problem?  I did notify Kelloggs.

    • I printed that same poptarts coupon a while back and they could not scan it also and got all upset at me because “If it doesn’t have a bar-code it is FRAUDULENT!” wow, thanks for making me feel like a criminal!

  17. I can’t find a 40 cent/2 coupon for Campbell’s soup in the 10/2 SS.  The one I do see excludes Chicken Noodle and Tomato soup.

  18. I think that’s a phenomenal price for the nestle morsels… especially for the non-chocolate chips (butterscotch, white choc…)… how low to they really get? (like, what would be a stock-up price to a Fab FruGal?)
