These match-up prices are reflecting the catalina printing before coupons. The ad says catalina will print after coupons, but it never works that way. :)

KEY:

No star: Good price, you may as well pick it up if you’re there (if you need it).

★- means prices are better than generic/wholesale/mass store prices, buy a few if you need it!

– means this is when we stock up IF YOU NEED IT!!! :)

Comments

  1. The conagra catalina is working only if the total $$$ amount is AFTER coupons is still $25.00

    • did this on Wednesday, got total under $25.00 using coupons and still got the catalina.

      Here’s what I did:
10 Peter Pan Peanut Butter $16.90
      9 Hunts tomatoes $9
      used 3- .45/1 hunts coupons
      paid:$24.55
(used a gift card from prescription)
      Got back $10.00 cat

      Then I got:

      5 snapple 25.00
      used 5.00 in snapple coupons
      rolled cat from previous transaction
      paid:10.00
      got another 10.00 catalina

I had to get what I wanted early because I had surgery on Friday. Hated to miss doubles though. (hope that made sense i am still on some heavy meds.)

    • I have done 4 transactions all with the total under $25 after coupons.

  2. Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cereal be on the look out for boxs that say TRY ME FREE & make it a money maker.

Also there is a printable coupon $1/1 at kelloggs.com

  3. For the Peter Pan Peanut Butter, how did you come up with this? .25 each if you buy 25 use 25 .50/1 coupons and double 3
This is how I figured it out.
    15 peanut butters =25.35
    -10 catalina
    -6 (12 of .50/1 coupons)
    -3 (3 of .50/1 coupons, doubled)
    = 6.35 OOP or .42 ea.

I like your price better, so I’m wondering what I did wrong?? I actually have 20 peanut butter coupons, but I figure you want your price as close to the $25 as possible so you can get that many more $10 catalinas, that’s why I figured it out with only 15.
    Thanks.

    • It is called late night math. :) Thanks for catching that. I updated and gave an option for using the $1/2.

      • I am wondering why I needed to buy 25 of them too. I figured it exactly like you did Crystal. It shoes that scenario on other items as well. HMM??? I thought I had LOST my mind. :-)

        • Glad I wasn’t the only one! I did the math on it probably 5 times and kept getting .42 cents! :) Bummer, I was hoping I really did do the math wrong and there was a better deal! Oh-well, good enough price for me!

  4. I think the La Choy catalina offer is over!

To Celebrate the Chinese New Year, enjoy this special offer from La Choy:

Save $5 on your next shopping trip when you spend $10 or more on La Choy products
    Offer valid 2/3/11-2/9/11

  5. Not to cause mass hysteria down the condiment isle or anything… but the 2oz Louisiana Hot sauce is $1.19 a bottle… use the $1.00 off coupon from the 1/16 ss and you’re looking at enough free hot sauce to fill everyone’s stocking come Christmas 2011!

  6. I was able to get the Oxy Palmolive Dish Soap (Blue), also on sale for 2 dollars, for free by doubling the $1/1 cpn when we had the doublers a week ago. It must also be antibacterial but advertised as so.

  7. FYI: Last week when I went to Walmart to use my Albertson’s Doublers they are now making you use them however they come in the ad. Three at a time… I usually only use 12 or so, but had to do it in three transactions. (Idaho)

  8. Are these double-ing coupons in the add or in the paper?

  9. Has anyone tried in the Idaho Falls area?

  10. I’m pretty irritated that the albertsons double coupons don’t come in our sunday paper… we get them in the mail on tuesday thus I only get one set of doubles.

  11. ayone know how long the chips/water deal goes? I want to do it tomorrow w/ doublers…anybody done it last day or so?

  12. Angelic Buckley says:

Ok, I hope I’m not going crazy, but I have the January, 2011 issue of All You in front of me, and I am not finding these great coupons: Peter Pan Peanut Butter, Hunt’s Snack Pack pudding (there was one for Swiss Miss pudding) or Swiss Miss cocoa., or the one for Chef Boyardee canned pasta. Am I looking in the wrong place? Am I gong crazy? HELP!

  13. so has anyone in nampa, id had there tranaction go under 25.00 with coupons and still get the 10.00 cat? dont want to spend the extra if i dont get the cat right.

    • I did the Snapple deal tonight in Nampa with $5 in coupons and was under the $25 and got the $10 Cat to start stocking up tomorrow morning! It worked!

  14. I live in Missoula, MT and have been couponing for a little over a month. I have all of the Sunday inserts for the great deals but only 3 coupons that will work. It has been this way since I started. In all, I have used 6 coupons from my Sunday papers even though there are tons more deals, the Missoula newspaper just doesn’t carry all the coupons in the inserts. Is it possible to buy Sunday inserts from somewhere else? If so, what newspaper/source has most/all of the coupons? Thank you SO much!!

    • I too live in Montana and our selection of coupons in the papers are terrible here. We never get any of the “good” coupons. I do use lots of internet coupons and a coupon clipping service. I just ordered 24 coupons this morning and it cost me $2.65 including shipping. (A little more than the cost of one Sunday paper and these are all coupons I wanted and will use) Not sure if you can order the Billing’s newspaper, I tried but I am out of their delivery area. (I am also not sure if they have better coupons) Hope that helps!!

      • Thanks! It’s so frustrating. I get excited to see what savings I can get and then bummed because I don’t have the coupons for them. Would you mind telling me what coupon clipping service you use? I’ve never done that before. Thanks for the help!

        • I use Manufactures Coupons….to get there go to Fabulessly Frugal’s home page, click on Printable Coupons then scroll down to Coupon Clippers then choose “Manufactures Coupons” (this is their actual name) (when you do it this way instead of going right to their site Fabulessly Frugal get a % which I think is important because of all the work they do) I use Manufacture Coupons because they are very reasonable and they are located in Washington State so I get them mailed to me quickly. We don’t have lots of couponers here, unlike other places, so even if I order them on Tuesday when these Fabuless Ladies do their grocery store match-ups, (new ads start Wednesday) they are here before the add ends on the following Tuesday and our stores are usually still well stocked. Again, hope this helps!!!

        • Susi, I get the Billings Gazzette, and a lot of times they don’t have half the coupons in the inserts either. I feel the same way about them not having the coupons in it that the inserts in other places have. On the binding of the inserts it tells you what papers all get that insert and Bozeman and Billings get the same, so don’t buy the Billings Gazzette. You could double check on your insert if you want. I usually just end up buying the coupons I want to stock up on off ebay. Anyways, good luck!

        • i’m in great falls – and am seeing the same thing – the ones that were in the paper i’ld already printed off from coupons.com, smartsource.com and redplum.com – may have to do the same

  15. the catalina is not printing help…. I did two transactions of 3 bottles and no catalina of the Kikkoman Terriyaki Sauce 10oz. They are on sale for $1.99 so when you double you still get them free no OOP, but a catalina would make it $1.50 overage, plus the free Ponzu value $2.99…..

  16. I am new to the North Washington area and I was wondering where you would find the “Twice the value coupons”? Which newspapers have them? Do you need to have a subscription?

Also which newspaper have the better inserts?

    • Seattle Times has a good selection, and you can get it on Saturday at some Dollar Trees for $1. We do not get Red Plum, it comes weekly in the mail. I’ve heard of a few people who can sweet-talk the mailman into bringing extras, but I am not brave enough for that. ;) Everything else, including the Twice the Value coupons, is in the paper. I bought 4 at Dollar Tree last Sat and got 4 sets of doublers. Hope that helps!

  17. if i have the double your coupon, can i use it to pay for 3 like items…

say, i want to buy 3 pickles and have 3 coupons of .50 each…will they double all my coupons for the 3 items?
