  1. Patricia Cannedyt says:

Can’t find Albertson in Sacramento. Where is the nearest one?

  2. I have a question about the Everyday Essential mushrooms can. When I went to use the coupon on an item that was under $1 they said I couldn’t because the coupon stated, “must be at least $1)….is this correct?

    Thanks!

  3. Stephanie says:

I see you were able to use the everyday essentials coupon on a $.99 item- mushrooms. I have been avoiding the tomato sauce because it is .99- under $1. Did it scan fine, or did they have to put it through?

  4. jennifer says:

My cashiers said the item has to be as the coupon states “over $1.00″ I’m surprised they broke from their rule of following what the coupon states for her. Also does anyone know what stores have the books without all of the essential coupons cut from them? I’ve been to five stores in Boise and they are all either gone, or this good coupon is cut out. But I guess if every couponer is grabbing a handful there are only so many booklets to go around.

    • I think that the stores are cutting them out because everyone was taking them and ripping them out and tossing the rest. I would ask your stores customer service and see if they have them at the registers. I know my store does.

  5. couponer user says:

that is misuse of the coupon, it clearly says 1.00 and up, anyone using it otherwise is not coupon savy.. and should not post this stuff, you are wondering why coupon misuse is on the rise…..hmmmmm

  6. Thanks for bringing the coupon verbiage to my attention. We always strive to follow the verbiage on the coupon. http://fabulesslyfrugal.com/coupon-ethics

With this particular coupon I never got to read the fine print. The store has cut them all out of the booklet and is keeping them at checkout. So the cashier just scanned one per transaction for me and never showed it to me. I was unaware of the .99 rule.

My cashier did round the coupon down to .99 and did not give me overage. I am guessing that the reason Albertsons put the .99 rule in there is to keep from paying overage.

I am sure that my cashier was unaware of the verbiage, I do not think he would have just ignored it. I am sure that he wants to follow his store rules just as much as I do.

  7. I just want to say thank you! I read some of the comments and pray they don’t discourage you from sharing all of the amazing deals and match ups! I am new to couponing, this website makes me feel like its a success! I am having so much fun with it. The joy at the register when I save $ is incredible!! Keep up the great work!!

    • Thank you Kathy. You are so sweet. It makes me so happy to hear that you are having coupon success!

    • I don’t see anything wrong with the comments at all. I, personally, would not suggest to anyone to use a coupon on an item for under a dollar when the coupon specifically states the item must be for over a dollar. I was simply asking how she was able to use the coupon in this manner when others couldn’t. It is a fair question.

      • Belle-

I would not have used it and I certainly would not have posted about it if I would have had an opportunity to read the coupon.

        • Oh, I do believe you, trust me. I was just defending my question.

          • Belle-

I do not think you have anything to defend. You were not being accusing or rude, just asking for clarification. I appreciate that. We do want to make sure that people are learning to coupon the proper way. Thank you for your support and concern.
