If you shop Walgreens or Rite Aid, you’ll usually be able to pick these sorts of items up for free or very close to it (with the exception of a few). Comments

  1. The last few times we have had doublers my store is totally wiped out by the time I get there. Do you know if we can use doublers right after midnight at an Albies that is open 24 hours? I know, sounds extreme, but I’ve been missing out on all the fab deals.

  2. coupon_mt says:

Does anyone know if walmart will price match the price of the item including the catalina? So for example the Jello is 75¢ before catalina but 50¢ when you buy 4 and factor in the catalina. Will walmart price match the 50¢?

  3. Thank you for posting this list so soon! I make a list of the stock-up items and email it to my Albertsons director. This allows them plenty of time to order and be prepared for us couponers. Thank you!

  4. I can’t find the Tyson nuggets coupon. Did Idaho get it?

  5. Helen in Meridian says:

I noticed that there were $1.50 hang tags on the Arm & Hammer with oxiclean or something like that on the jugs at either Albertsons or Fred Meyer. I was at both and forgot which one had the hang tags good on any size.

  6. Helen in Meridian says:

I took that holiday ocupon booklet into my Meridian/Main/Cherry store so the mgr could see it and order lots of jello and Dole Pineapple for the weekend sale. Jeff took photo of my coupon book, actually found it before I left the store. So please shop at my little Meridian store. The cashiers should have the coupons for you at checkout for your jello and Dole pineapple deals.

    • Please tell me what the holiday coupon book looks like. My store has the one with the turkey on the front and it doesn’t have the jello or pineapple coupons in it. Thanks in advance for your reply. I would love to give my local manager a heads up so they can have the product and coupons available for us.

      • Kelly, it’s not the turkey booklet. It is the same size tho. It’s a Christmasy-theme recipe booklet, with a photo of a fancy cake on the front. It’s full of dessert recipes, but on the back there are 4 coupons:

$1/25/3 good on jello, graham crackers, and a few other items
        $1/3 Dole pineapple
and two coupons on holiday Ziplocs — one for bags and one for containers. (can’t remember how much they’re for, sorry).

I spotted some a couple weeks ago, picked up a couple, and wish I’d picked up more. But I honestly cannot remember where I found them. It could have been Winco, Freddies, or Albertsons because I have shopped at all three stores recently. I do remember that they were on a cardboard display containing baking items and located in the area of the store where they put promotional items, not on the regular shelves.

        Hope this helps.

Oh, an there are also tearpad coupons out there that are good for $1 wyb one EACH of jello, bakers bars, AND Nilla Wafers (I think — typing from memory here). Given that you had to buy each of three different items, it’s not as good of a coupon. These I’m quite certain I spotted at Winco just the other day.

      • Helen in Meridian says:

The coupon book was in a display of Baker’s Holiday products at WINCO and first found on a display 3 weeks ago at Albertsons at Glenwood/State.. The cover says Deliciously Simple Holiday Recipes and on the back are the $1.25/3 good on the Jello, Philadelphia Cream Cheese; $1/3 Dole pineapple; $1.50/2 ziploc containrs; and the other Ziploc coupon I put somewhere in my purse. On front says save $4.75 now

      • I found that coupon book at Winco in Meridian a few weeks ago on a display that was between the produce and the bulk section. I found it today at Fred Meyer on a display right across the isle from the jello.
        So for the Dole pineapple you can buy 4 or 12. 12 is a better deal so $12-4 coupons-3 doublers-3 catalinas=$2 for 12 cans which is .16 a piece. If you buy 4 that’s 4-1Q-1dbl-1 cat=1 for 4 cans so .25 each.

  7. The only GM cereal coupon I got in my 10/2 GM insert was for $1/3. :-( I live in Caldwell, did Idaho not get the $1/1?

  8. Am i missing the Gold Medal Flour coupon or is it no longer available on their site? I just cant seem to find it anywhere.

    Thanks!!

  9. Fred Meyer had tearpad coupons for $1 any fresh pork recently. If you have those, they’re good to stack with the bogo sale on pork chops at Albertsons this week.

  10. What is a stock up price on toilet paper and paper towels?

  11. On the P & G instant savings I see that you save 5 if you buy 5 items and for example on aussie you are using the double $1 coupon to take off $2 for a final price of $.49.

I’m pretty sure the store policy is to limit 3 doublers per transaction so you can only get 3 at .49 if you buy 5 and the other 2 will be at 1.49 (if you have coupons to cover 5).

SO really your final cost on that particular product would be $4.45 or $.89 an item

    • Nick, you are right, assuming you buy 5 Aussie’s.

The fab gals usually detail it this way to show what your price would be on that item alone. With mix-and-match promotions like this one, it’s impossible for them to list an exact out-of-pocket price because it varies widely according to what combination of 5 items you buy.

    • Use some fillers Nick. The Febreze Noticeable Warmers have $2/1 coupons (Free with promo). Buy 2 of these and 3 aussies.

      Buy

      2 Noticeable Warmers
      3 Aussies

      Use

      (2) $2/1 Febreze warmer coupons
      (3) $1/1 Aussie coupons
      (3) doublers

      = $1.47 + sales tax

  12. Does anyone know if the barilla plus pasta is included in the sale? If so, that would be great!

  13. This is extremely frustrating, everytime I see an item labelled “SS insert” I go to that insert, and it is NEVER there…?!

    • Tonya, I understand your frustration because I have been there.

I get the “Yes” inserts and occasionally buy an extra newspaper at a store if there are coupons that I really want. They NEVER include everything that home-subscription versions get. Therefore, the listings include a lot of coupons that I don’t have, and therefore the “clipless” system doesn’t work very for me. I tried it for a while and went back to clipping because I find it much easier to know what coupons I have and find them easily. After trying various methods, I’ve landed on a simple alphabetic system of filing. It takes more time to clip and file than the clipless system endorsed by the fab gals, but for me, spending the time up front makes it a lot quicker to find coupons later.

Which is not to say that I don’t appreciate all the time the fab gals put into compiling the lists. I think it would be challenging, to say the least, given how coupon inserts vary so much between geographic areas and coupon sources. If a coupon is listed here and doesn’t say “not in Idaho,” then I can quickly check my file to see if I actually have that coupon.

    • Yep, this happens to me. I live in the Eugene area, and the local paper here is the Register Guard. Those inserts NEVER have all the coupons- some but not all. But if I am able to get a Sunday Oregonian (the state paper) it always has all the coupons.

  14. I was in Albertsons today and found yet another coupon booklet. This one is from Keebler and was located on a cardboard display case full of Keebler crackers. It contains:

    Club crackers $1/2
    Club crackers minis $1/2
    Town house $1/2
    Toasted’s $1/2
    Graham crackers $1/2
    Zesta or Sunshine krispy $1/2
    Flat bread crackers $1/2
    Wheatables $1/2
    Carr’s crackers $1/2
    Rice Krispie treats $1/2
    Keebler cookies $1/2
    Wholly Guacamole $1/2
Santa’s Magic Stories DVD $3/1 (a collection of holiday classics that looks good for kids)
and my personal favorite … Bounty Napkins (any) $1/1. If you look closely at the fine print in this week’s Albertsons ad, they are not pictured but Bounty napkins are $3.79 and are included in the P&G $5 instant savings promo.

All expire 1/31/12 except the DVD coupon, which expires 12/31/11. The booklet says very nicely on the front cover “One coupon booklet per customer please.”

So … now we have THREE different coupon booklets to be on the lookout for: the turkey booklet, the fancy desserts baking booklet, and now the Keebler cracker booklet. :-)

Also, I found yet another jello coupon. This one was a tearpad attached to a cardboard display of Jello temptations, but it is good on any jello, $.55/2. The front shows a Halloween photo, but the coupon doesn’t expire until 3/31/12.

  15. Does anyone know if the $2/1 Febreze Noticables Warmer Pack on sale at Albertsons, is it the like the picture of the two or ??? I am still new at all of this. any help would be nice thanks so much Lisa

    • Yes these are Lisa. $1.99 with the buy 5 P&G promo. Save them for doubles this Sunday.

      Buy 2 Febreze Noticeable Warmers = $3.98

Buy 3 Febreze Set & Refresh or Air Effects = $5.97

Use 2 $2/1 Noticeable Warmer coupons

Use 3 $1/1 Set & refresh or Air Effects coupons

      Use 3 TTV doubler coupons

      = FREE + sales tax.

      Hope this helps

  16. I don’t like to point out erros, but I think you may have accidentally gotten the two stars (black and red) mixed up in the symbol key at the top of this article…after looking over the list, I’m thinking they may be backwards…

  17. *errors

  18. Does anyone have any of the Softsoap hand soap coupons they may want to let go of? The Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle area didn’t get any in last week’s paper. I pre-ordered at Albertson’s today without checking to see if I actually had the coupon…oops. I’d love to get it this next “double” weekend. Thanks!

  19. Thanks for all your hard work. Yours is my favorite website out there. I will share with you another new website I just stumbed on that posted a very large albertsons doublers posting too. Its called happymoneysaver.com It found quite a few more free things for this sunday that you don’t have here. Thank you for all you do and thought this might help. PS , I get a kick out of Mavis’s posts, she is so funny. That picture of her as a coupon fairy. Hilarious.

  20. There is a coupon on smartsource for 1.00/2 dole fruit any, that would make the pineapple free when doubled.

    • Carolyn H. says:

I can only find on smartsource the .50/2? What zip code are you using?

    • Also, after you pay, a coupon will print out for $1/4, so if you double it, and factor in the $1 catalina, that makes them $.25 each!!! Our family eats pineapple like crazy, and with it usually around $2/can, this is DEFINATELY a stock up price for us (especially since most of the deals I went in to get were gone by the time I got there)!!!

  21. Just a little excited about all of these promos! Placed my order yesterday and confirmed today that everything I ordered will be available. Thank you FruGals for posting all these great match ups so quickly!

A little trick for those who may not know…. Any $1 off your next order coupon you receive from these promos that say manufacturers coupon can be doubled. I will be doubling mine to use against chicken, fresh veggies and to use with some of the other deals where coupons aren’t available. To get almost free or free chicken have your chicken wrapped in packages at a pound or just over, use a $1 on your next order coupon and a doubler.

A checker taught me this trick and while a couple of them have questioned doubling those, rarely have there been issues especially after (nicely) pointing out the words on the coupon :)

    • This is one of those YMMV things. I’ve been able to do it sometimes, but other times I’ve been told no. It doesn’t hurt to ask tho.

  22. will the fabreze noticables warmer pack 2.00 coupon really work on the 1 ct warmers? the picture shows the 2 pack and the wording on the coupon makes it sound like its for the 2 or more count….im just wondering before i go in and pray it works lol

  23. “★Advil Pain Relief 40-50 ct $5.49/$3.68
Double the $1/1 Advil 10/30/2011 RP
    or $1/1 Advil Product
    Final Price: $1.68″

I believe this is supposed to be ALEVE, not Advil… the Only Advil I see in the ad is the 80-100 ct. for $8.99.
The Aleve is 40-50 ct. for $5.49.

    • Hello,
Yes, I do believe it is supposed to be Aleve. I did this deal today, because there are several $2.00/1 printable coupons out there. I bought 3 – 40 count bottles, $16.47, minus $6.00 q’s = $10.47 and got a $5 cat. So $1.83 a bottle. Not free or a moneymaker, but a good price and I do use this brand:)

  24. will the catalina’s only work on the first listed products or if you guy say 12 jellos’ will you get 3 catalinas in one transaction?

  25. Does anyone know if the kettle chips catalina promotion includes the “baked” ones? Thank you!

  26. The Barilla pasta coupons were not in any of my inserts, and what zipcode can I get the garnier frucctis styling product under?

  27. My albies on eagle/mcmillion doesn’t have the cookie pouches on sale! :(

  28. POCATLLO-Chinet cups were not on sale…$3.29…normal Price.

  29. Also couldnt find the Johnsons Vanilla oatmeal baby lotion on sale for $2.80 it was over $4 for the only size they had. I couldn’t find a smaller size

  30. is $4.02 really not a good price for the Advil 100 ct…? If you used the $1 coup and a double on it at W.Mart it would be $6.48. I think the $4.02 at Albies is a good price…am I mistaken?

    • I buy my ibuprofen at Dollar Tree, 40 pills for $1. Personally, I would not waste ink/paper/doublers for OTC pain relievers unless they beat the Dollar Tree price. (Sometimes you can get these free at Rite Aid.)

  31. I am SOOOO upset right now!!! The Statesman only brought me 1 paper this morning instead of 5! When I called they promised to bring out my other 4 as soon as possible. Well 3 hours later they brought me only 1 more!!! Now their office is closed and I am going to miss some deals and that just really makes me angry!!! Ok sorry to vent.

    • I also only got 1 this AM instead of the 4 I usually get – but they did bring my other 3 after I called. Wonder what was up today

  32. This was the worst doublers shopping ever!!!! My catalinas wouldn’t print. For my Spend $15 get $5 They said it was cause my after coupon price was to low. :(
my johnsonville smoked sausages, brawtwursts, and my tysons printed either. BUT because i was gonna roll them they manually took the price off my next order except my last one which i went to customer service and they printed me one. It was just such a royal PITA!

Anybody else have any problems with the catalinas?

    • I got my spend $15 get $5 one, but I spent $15.23 oop after coupons so I was for sure above the $15.

    • I did a deal recently at Fred Meyer for Halloween candy, and my total after coupons was going to be below the $ amount to print the catalina, so the lady was super nice and had me ring it all and not use my coupons so my catalina would print, and then rang my coupons in as a seperate transaction and gave me the cash back. (Was she supposed to let me do this??? Either way, she was super nice and helpful! ;)

  33. Trying to find the TGI Friday’s coupon. Is it still available?

  34. Leland Heinbach says:

Crest Toothpaste 4-8oz select varieties or Oral-B Toothbrush 1 ct $2.49/$1.49
Double $0.50/1 Oral-B or Crest Manual or Zooth Power Toothb 10/30/2011 P&G
or $1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel 10/30/2011 P&G
or $0.50/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel 10/30/2011 P&G
    Final Price: FREE!

I got the Crest toothpaste – if you bought 5 you saved another $5 so this is what i came up with

    buy 5 crest at 2.49
    double 3 $1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel 10/30/2011 P&G + 2 without doubles
    looked like this
    5 at 2.49= $12.48
    save $5 automatically = $7.45
coupons save $8 so its a $0.55 moneymaker when you buy 5

  35. At my Albies (Yakima) Only Barilla Piccoli (sp?) was on sale, not the Plus.. the Plus was regular price, $2.29 I want to say.

Also, Betty Crocker cookie pouches weren’t on sale at my store (and I couldn’t find it in the ad either)..

aanndd I had a coupon for Quaker’s Oatmeal $1/2 from All You, and it’s only good on honey bun or some other kind of new oatmeal, which of course they didn’t have at my Albies. Thank goodness for some of the boxes having peelies for $1/2! Saved my transaction ;)

  36. I cannot find the tgi fridays coupon. What zip code to use??

  37. BoiseShopper says:

  38. i have just started couponing and i went to my local albertsons here in corvallis, oregon and used manufacturer coupons and albertsons doublers last week. i had twelve transactions and the lady at the register said oh you are gonna tie me up. she told her manager that was working the till across from her this lady has nore than three doublers and transactions. the manager wa sconfused and said go ahead i will block you off so noone else can come in the line. so i proceeded to put each transaction up and seperate them out. the lady at the register was upset by this. she was rude and then i was two transactions away from being done when the manager told me that albertsons only allows three transactions per customer. is this true????? i looked ta there policies and cannot find where it says that. i know that you can only have three doublers per transaction and thats what i had. i had three items per transaction and each item had a doubler coupon and a manufacturer coupon. the very last transaction had no coupons.
