Albertsons Double Coupon Deals (or TWICE THE VALUE) for June 26th – June 28th

Keep checking back for more updates on this post!

TIPS for shopping with double coupons at Albertsons:

  • Don’t forget that you can make a shopping list right from the site! Watch Monica’s video on how to make this post your personal shopping list!
  • Are you taking your doubles to Walmart? Find out why we recommend using your coupons at Albertsons!
  • Remember that you can only double THREE coupons in one transaction. Often times, you’ll see us only use 3 coupons in one transaction, double all three coupons, and pay a very small “out of pocket”. And we’ll do this three times in a row!
  • If your double coupon creates “overage” on the product, the double value will be adjusted down to make the product free. Most Albertsons register systems have been upgraded and will automatically do this as this aligns with Albertsons Coupon Policy.
  • Where to find the doubles: You can get Albertsons doubles in the Sunday paper and from your store. Most stores keep them right at the registers.
  • New at this? Make sure you understand all the rules with Albertsons Double Coupons.

Thanks for supporting Fabulessly Frugal by printing your coupons HERE! It’s just one way to keep the deals coming!

No star: Good price, you may as well pick it up if you’re there (if you need it).
★- means prices are better than generic/wholesale/mass store prices, buy a few if you need it!
– means this is when we stock up!!! {aka Extreme Couponing… done right}

  1. Hint from another Dental Hygienist. Ask at your dental office for high value coupons like $2/ANY Reach floss (money maker!) and $1/ Listerine mouthrinses (great with doublers.)

    • thank u i never thought of that, great info

      • Dang we do not get those coupons in our dental office. Did you get them from a rep or request them by email?

        • We must have gotten them through our rep, I don’t think we requested them. Reach has a new floss design/packaging so I’m guessing it is for promotion-type marketing. I don’t do the ordering so I’ll ask about where they came from.

          • Nancy H says:

Our office got coupons for any Listerine and any Reach floss, but not as high value-they are 55 cents each but they don’t expire until 2014!

  2. In the scenario :
    Welch’s 100% Grape Juice $2.99/$2.49
Double $0.55/1 Welch’s Essentials Juice Cocktail Blend 6/12/2011 SS
    Final Price $1.39

When i went to albertson the Welch’s essenctials was not part of the promo…can i still use this coupon for the 100% juice?…do the offers vary by store?….i would appreciate if you can answer my question..Thanks :)

  3. Is the coupon for the kingsford on the bag? If not where?

  4. I think the scotch brignt pads should be 1.19. thanks for the great post!

  5. You could buy just 4 of the Nature Valley granolas and still get them for $1.50 with the doublers and catalina. It comes out the same per box when you consider you can’t use a coupon for the 5th box.

    • Samantha says:

I purchased 6 boxes of nature valley granola bars with three coupons and doublers. My total was $12 dollars and then I got 3 catalinas one for milk one for 3 dollars and one for 5 dollars. I wasn’t expecting that many!

  6. Is there any way to make the list printable in color or use a different symbol besides the star? When you go to print, its kinda hard to figure out which products are a stock-up price besides opening two windows to view the page. LOVE your site!!!!!!!!!!!

    • We will see what we can do. Thanks for the feedback!

      • If it helps with your feedback…. I’d love to see it too! I was wanting to suggest the very same thing! Perhaps a star instead of a red box??? It would help when trying to edit down the printed version. Right now I have to print out the whole printed version and then go to my copy and use a highlighter to mark all the red boxes and then go back in and edit down the printed version. It would be really AWESOME! Thanks so much for all that you FAB ladies DO!!! :)

  7. I think you are using the wrong Lance’s coupon for the sandwich crackers. Shouldn’t it be the .55/1 , any variety 8 count for the $2.50 pack?

  8. Danielle says:

So I have a tricky question: If you are doing the yogurt promo where you get the free milk, would you also be able to do the oreo thing where you can get oreos for 1.99 if you buy milk??

Holy crap there’s a truck load of good deals/ scenarios this week!

    • No, that wouldn’t work because the coupon says to buy the milk and the oreos. I think this question was asked last week. Plus, you can only use 3 doubles in one transaction so you wouldn’t get as good of a deal if you did that.

      • SesameStreet says:

Danielle, I went in today and the cashier automatically added a .99 pack of nabisco to-go to my two yogurt deal transactions. So I got four danimals, 1 gallon of milk and a to-go pack of chips ahoy for the $1.36.

        • My cashier did the same thing! I love it when they tell us about the good deals! I was all, my milk is free I can’t use that coupon and she said I have the coupon and the togo pack is free – which one do you want :)

  9. My Albie’s manager just told me they will no longer be receiving extra doubles to hand out, stating it would be in hopes of calming down the “Sunday Frenzy that those shows are creating with double coupons”. I already get 5 papers a week, so I know I’ll have 5 sets of doubles, but this really makes me strategize a bit more now that I’m limited to only 5 transactions. :(

    • Jennifer says:

I heard the same thing from my manager. well he didn’t come right and and say it because he’s not suppose to at this point just alluded that changes are coming down from the corporate offices and if i don’t currently get a paper with doublers in them i should start now……..basically saying the same that you heard, doublers will no longer be handed out in the stores. I get the 5 sunday papers as well so i always have my own doublers on hand but every week i usually end up getting at least a few more from the store to cover the new deals that people find.

      • My Albies at 10 Mile & Cherry has been doing that for a couple of months now. I get 5 Sunday papers and that’s it. So when those doubles are gone… I am done shopping at Albertsons for the week. Does anyone know about the Albies on Main in Meridian. Are they still giving doubles at the cash registers??

        • I was just at the 10 Mile/Cherry albies the last time they had doubles (two weeks ago) and the cashier was handing out 3 sets to shoppers if they came and asked for them BEFORE they began shopping. I always have my own, so I didn’t get any, but it seemed that it was a new policy that they were implementing. I’m wondering now what they’ll do? Makes me very grateful for my paper subscription!! :)

    • TIffany says:

      Where Albertsons was that at?

    • chelsea says:

Is this at all stores or just in your area? Where are you at? I only get one newspaper, and ask at the counter for the rest! If they tell me no more, that’s seriously going to stink!!!

      • Jennifer says:

i am in idaho falls. He said that any changes that come will be coming from the corporate offices not just his store, so i would assume it’ll affect all albertsons.

        • booooo!!!! Thanks for the heads up! We’ll see what happens Sunday when I come begging for some!

        • What store do you shop at? Does anyone if IF have a preferred albies they shop at?

          • Jennifer says:

I prefer the broadway albertsons. The manager is great and as a bonus the cashier that usually works sunday mornings coupons herself so she knows what she’s doing! Plus if i miss a deal that she knows about or has seen others do she lets me know :) I will go to the other albies if broadway is out of something i want and have always had good experiences there too.

    • I was told the same thing by the grocery manager in Pocatello.

      • AND… in Oregon; we don’t have ANY great SUnday Subscriptions. Our best is ONE Sunday / Tuesday combo for .99 but ONLY ONE PER ADDRESS. otherwise it is Fri Sat Sun combo for almost $4 OR buy a Sunday for $2 ea. That is it.

        • Tabitha says:

I’m in Oregon and buy my Sunday papers at Walgreens because they are only $1 but I always review that they have the coupons I want before paying for them.

          • Do all Walgreens in Oregon do this? I’m in the Hillsboro area, and have never paid attention to the price at Walgreens, but if this is the case, I’ll start getting my extras there.

  10. I have a question about the Resolve. It seems that the item on sale is Pre-Treat and not In-Wash. So, it appears that the match up would be the .50/1 any Pre-Treat product and not $1/1 any In-Wash Stain remover. Does anyone know if that Is correct?

Also, Red Baron Singles….the printable coupon states $1/1 Pan Pizza. This coupon will not work on the singles will it? Or are there Pan Pizza Singles? Thanks

  11. The Scotch Brite sponges would be $1.19 after doubler, not $.19. Right?

  12. Has the coupon for the Zone bars expired?

  13. Lindsey says:

Hi! I’m in Southern California and we don’t even get the twice the value coupons every week. Our Albertson’s ad comes in the mail on Tuesday. I never know when we are going to get those coupons. Anyone else out there experience this? What state are you guys in that you get the doubles every week?

    • Andelin says:

Twice the value coupons come in the Sunday papers, not the tues/wed flyer. HTH!

    • Lindsey, sadly SoCal doesn’t get the doubles like the NW stores do. It’s very occasionally, and you’re right… they come in the mail (and you usually only get 2). The stores that get them (usually) every other week (Sun-Tues) are in WA, OR, ID, MT (did I miss anyone?). Sorry that this post doesn’t apply to you. :(

    • i can never find them either, not even ib the sunday paper, they r never there and i checked all 4 local papers, im also in southern california, the fontana area

  14. I was just at Albertsons (stadium one in Caldwell) I was a bit bummed to see that several of the things I have coupons for and was hoping to use this doubler round were not even on the shelves. Here is what I saw. They did not have the dannon light and fit strawberry banana and the coupon does specify this flavor. I did not even see it in singles :-( They also did not have any of the dananino packs at all (or even a place for them:-() I was wondering if maybe they will get some in ??? wishful thinking?? Guess a plan B is a must for me this week.

    • Michele Ruiz says:

I was just there at stadium albies, around 1030 am today ( monday ) they had a whole cart of yogurts they were putting out! so they still have some! dont be afraid to ask if they have some in the back

  15. A heads up to fellow couponers in twin falls, I just left albertsons and they barely had any dannonio yogurts on the self. I talked to the manager and he said he expects to be sold out before Sunday! So if u didn’t pre-order and really want those u may want to go over now and pay a dollar each…its not a fabuless deal, but with the free milk it is still a good deal in my eyes, I went ahead and got my yogurts tonight :)

  16. I’m located in Southern California as well and don’t know when we will get the doublers. Our stores here in Vista, CA don’t carry them in the store. I usually get a coupon booklet in the mail with two doublers on the back, not three. I’m also interested as to whether this is for Southern Cali as well, since I wasn’t aware they put doublers in the newspaper. I usually pull my inserts and recycle the rest.

    • Holly – this is for the NW Albertsons stores… although the SoCal stores usually have very similar promos, they don’t very often have the doubles. So sorry, this one doesn’t apply to you. :(

  17. I just went to the Albertson’s in Twin Falls, Idaho and picked up their paper from the checkout lane, but alas, there were no doubler coupons in it! I’m new to this, am I missing something?

    • They won’t be in the paper until tomorrow, Sunday. The doubles will be good Sun-Tues.

    • They don’t have double coupons in the Saturday paper, just Sunday. Try again tomorrow but be sure to check the paper FIRST to be sure it has the doublers as well as the inserts! I’ve been hearing a lot of people say we are more likely to get the inserts with a subscription because there are only a certain number of inserts printed. Home delivery is the first priority so once the inserts run out, they are out. Good luck!

      • We get Times News but live outside of Twin and we barely get any store ads at all. Fred Meyer is really the only one we get that is a store to coupon at. Haven’t received Walgreen’s in over a year, or Best Buy, Shopko, Kmart and now the past couple of weeks, no Target ad either. I have complained and complained because I pay the same as Twin Falls subscribers and also shop in Twin Falls but they said that each store gives a certain number of inserts and they designate where those are distributed. Sucks. It’s just not the same looking at ads on line as curling up with the Sunday paper!. I have only not received the Albertson’s doublers once, but unfortunately I am rarely able to make a trip to Twin on the days they are good (Sun-Tues).

  18. Melissa says:

Is the Ronzoni Garden Delight also $1.25 like the Smart Taste?

  19. my sunday papers in my area never ever have the doublers in them and i have a few albertsons in my area, does anyone else have this problem, im in the fontana ca area in the inland empire

    • Sadly California does not have double coupons in the paper. They get them in the mail sometimes but it is rare. :(

  20. Question about the Dannon/Milk promo…The ad says up to $4.00 off instantly for milk. Since it does not specify “free gallon of milk up to $4.00” or something similar, is it possible to purchase a gallon and another size of milk to get as close to $4.00 worth of milk as you can and get the whole $4.00 off? Does anyone know the nitty gritty of how this will work? Thanks a bunch! :)

    • It seems to vary by store. I got a free milk catalina last week in the morning at one Albertsons and bought 2 milks with it and paid 88cents…so they took the $4 off of both. I decided that was a great deal so that afternoon I went to a different Albertsons in the same town and received the same catalina for milk but when I went to purchase 2 milks with it, they told me they couldn’t do that and the other store “shouldn’t have” ??? I was so confused!!!

      • So I ended up doing the deal today once because we really needed milk and I wanted to make sure I got the Danimals Drinkables since my son really loves them, so I bit the bullet and paid $4 instead of $1 :) The things we do for our children :) . That is a really good question though because I got one gallon of milk for $3.59 and it took $3.59 off. Im not sure if you bought 1 gallon and 1 half gallon if the savings would link to both items or just the one. I guess well find out tomorrow when people start buying!!

      • The milk catalina really depends on the wording…some of the cats just have “off your next milk purchase” while others are specific about “off one gallon of milk”. Not sure what triggers the off your milk purchase one?

    • So, to answer my own question…The computer will automatically take off the price of the most expensive milk item you buy up to $4.00. It will NOT recognize multiple milk items and add them to the discount. I tried to buy a gallon and a 1/2 gallon to see if it would take a full $4.00 off and it only took off the cost of the gallon. My cashier was awesome and was actually just as curious as I was about what would happen. So, it’s a no-go with trying to buy more than one item of milk to equal $4.00 and get the whole $4.00 off. Bummer, but hey, who’s going to complain about FREE MILK!? :)

    • I bought a gallon that was $2.99 but $4.00 was taken off my total.

  21. Christina says:

I don’t know if anyone else is having a problem with Albertson’s milk but it doesn’t seem to last long after you open it. Maybe 4-5 days. I think i’m going to opt out of albertsons brand i’m so afraid i’m gonna give my son sour milk, yuk!

    • Danielle says:

Milk never last that long in our house!
Make sure you pick the gallons with the furthest expiration. But a suggestion would be to freeze half of it, especially when it’s free or you have a coupon for a gallon.

    • Cheryl H says:

I have been having the same problem in Idaho Falls. Decided I’m going to use a different brand this time around.

  22. Autumn Avila says:

Don’t forget the $2.50 Jamba Juice frozen smoothies. Double the $1/1 Q to make them .50 each

  23. I have a quick question I hope someone can help me out with. What Albertsons’ has the Quantum Dishwashing tabs for $2.49/$2.99 for 10 ct? I called my local Albertsons and they said they were $4.89! EEK!

    • If it’s in the ad that’s the price. It shouldn’t vary by store. I would take the ad into the store and talk to the manager. Maybe they thought you were asking about a higher count package?

  24. Amber A. says:

Quick question on FINISH… are your coupons printables??? the paper one specifes a size! :(

  25. Does anyone know if Texas get the double coupons?

    • The Albertsons in Texas is a different company with different ads and promotions at different times. I believe that all coupons under $1 are doubled in Texas at Albertsons, I am not positive on this though, but you don’t need doublers in Texas to get double coupon deals. You should probably check into the specifics for each store, but you’re lucky to live in the land of doubles!

  26. I live in Salt Lake City, Ut and I can’t any grocery stores here that double coupon

  27. I live in Salt Lake City, Ut and I can’t find any grocery stores here that double coupon

    • walmart in utah county doubles all coupons up to $1.00. so if your coupon is below a dollar it will double to $1.00. this is on tuesday only

  28. Jessica B says:

Just wanted to say if you are looking for double coupons in the nampa/caldwell area, you probably won’t find them in the stores/newstands papers. My husband looked for some in the statesman and press tribune, and the press had no inserts or doublers, and the statesman had some inserts but no doublers either. this was at 6 am, they were not taken from the paper, they were just not put in.

I called the press tribune and they said there are not enough to go around, that they make sure the home subscribers have all the coupons/doublers but can’t guarantee that the racks/stores will. so if you don’t have a home subscription, you won’t be getting any. :(
I do have a press tribune subscription, but this really stinks that you can’t even buy more papers with the doublers in them! :( our store doesn’t give any out either.

to anyone who has a statesman home subscription, do you always get all of your doublers/coupon inserts?

    • I get the 5 Sunday papers every Sunday. I have never had a problem with getting any coupons….. I paid less then $150.00 and in a month I had my years subscription already paid for in less then a month with all the coupons and doublers I got. It also paid for my wireless printer. It’s worth it and less stress in knowing you will have your coupons for sure in your papers.

      • I get the Statesman and never have issues with anything missing. When I first started subscribing (about a year and a half ago) I did have issues, but based on what Customer Service said it was more the carrier and not the distribution. Since we have moved and have a different carrier, I never am missing papers, insets, doublers, ads, nothing.

I checked the Statesman paper at Walgreens this morning with the cashier since i wanted an extra one and it had everything in it, so it sounds like maybe it is just an issue with the Tribune or something, not sure since there were doubles in papers being sold in Boise. That is frustrating for you.

Also, the two stores I shop at (Five Mile/Ustick and Eagle/McMillan) are still giving out doubles. They are limiting it to one per person per day, but that is better than nothing! It might be worth it to call around and see if their is a store that is within your driving limit that still IS giving the doubles out at Customer Service.

        • Jessica B says:

Thank you SO MUCH for the info! I live in Caldwell, so going to Boise to get papers or shop is a bit of a drive, but it looks like I might be doing just that LOL. I don’t mind having to buy papers to get the doublers, its just when I don’t even have that option it is frustrating. thanks again! :)

      • Jessica B says:

Hi Michelle, just confirming- you are getting the statesman? Thanks so much for your input! :)
I do have a subscription to the press tribune, and whenever i’ve had an issue they have always fixed it within a few hours (one time was missing 2 inserts, another 2 sundays didn’t get any papers) but mistakes can happen so I’ve never had an issue with the press customer service. :)

whenever we wanted more doublers we always just went and bought more papers. but now it seems that option isn’t even available.

  29. 3 hours into first day of doubles, my husband goes to buy 4 pks of danimals because we need 1 gallon of milk. He got the last 2 pks of yogurt and there are few smoothies left. cashier said one lady cleared shelf this morning. this was eagle albertsons. bummer! I hope other stores are stocked better, our albies isn’t real friendly about placing orders

    • The Albertsons on Eagle and McMillan was really well stocked. They had almost 4 times their normal stock placed separately from where they normally stock the yogurt, so make sure to look around just in case they more in another section of the refrigerated items!

  30. Just returned from Albertson’s and much to my surprise when I purchased 4 boxes of Fiber One brownies I received the $2.00 cat I was expecting and a $5.00 cat from General Mills that I wasn’t expecting. I spent $4.75 w/coupons for the 4 boxes and walked away with $7.00 in cats! Yea!

  31. The stadium store in caldwell was out of danimals- every kind by the time I got there just after 7 am :-( They did have some of the activia and a few of the dan o nino packs (these were in a separate cooler.) This store was not handing out doublers (not sure if they will get any since it was early and before customer service opened). The cashier said they did not have any but they were doing the first round at the register.

One NOTE: PLEASE PLEASE be nice to the stores and the employees. When we were there someone was calling and so mad at the employees because they did not have doublers to hand out. I cant believe that people are taking it to this level. Calm down a bit! The employees at our store are so nice and helpful and do not deserve to be treated this way. I told the staff that we appreciate them and think they are awesome. Make sure when you have an opportunity to tell your cashiers and other staff how great they are that you do it. They need to hear it.

    • I think that Albertson’s at a corporate levelis is being ridiculous by not having the doubles in the stores for people to use. I only started shopping there because of the great coupon deals with doubles. This has led me to do a lot of my shopping there. If I need stuff that isn’t with a coupon I will just pick it up at Albertson’s and pay the higher price instead of driving all over the place wasting gas. If they continue limiting the doubles so much it will make a trip to Albertson’s pointless and I will go to Walmart instead. I love shopping at Albertson’s but for my family it has really become about the bottom line on where I do my shopping. I think it is that way for many otheres now too. I really believe that someone in the higher up of the Albertson’s food chain needs to rethink the Albertson’s marketing strategy or they are going to lose my business due to necessity.

      • Michele Ruiz says:

        @ ANG

I was here early and the problem was the closer from the night before didn’t leave them out, she could’nt get into the office to get them , I had to buy papers for her to even “use” for the other customers in the store, I went again around 630 pm they had more yogurt…. the daninino case is full and there was coolisions and crush cups

        So try again.

ALSO if you all have an ENTERTAINMENT BOOK dont forget about the albies coupons in there in the front, only a few days left to use the $5 off $20 butcher block purchase,

        • Thanks for the info. I popped in there tonight and was shocked t see a few danimals (bad me I ony took the coupons for the granola thins) that will be the last time my book is not in my car. I hope they have some tomorrow.

I thought the employees handled the situation so well and were great making sure that people were getting their doubles at the check stand. That was awesome of you to get papers so they could do that. Thanks for that :-)

      • be thankful for what you do get in the paper and don’t be gready. That is a ridiculous complaint.

  32. Can someone tell me if they are seeing Emerald Breakfast To Go in their Albertson’s stores? I looked at three different Albertson’s today and couldn’t find any. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong section?

    • My stores keep them in the cereal isle. Look on the shelves where the granola bars are. Both of my stores they are on the top shelf. Hope that helps.

    • I couldn’t find them at my store either and then found the empty place for them on the top shelf with the granola bars.

  33. I didn’t read all of the post so not sure if someone has already mentioned this, but the GM milk promo includes several other cereals which is great~!

  34. I just received from the Nature Valley deal the $3 Nature Valley Catalina, a $5 General Mill Catalina and the up to $4.50 off one gallon milk cat. I purchased 6 total. Plus did the Fiber One deal twice and received the $2 and $5 for both transactions. It’s been a good morning :-)

  35. So, our neighborhood has been getting the coupons from the statesman dropped off on our driveways (to encourage us to subscribe to the statesman). They come with the Albertsons insert–but it’s the same one that comes in the Wednesday paper. Are the doubling coupons in a different part of the paper? I’m just confused. Thanks for any help!

    • The double coupons only come in a newspaper, so you would have to get a subscription. It is a separate sheet, not the albertson’s weekly ad. HTH! :)

    • Taryn – you’re getting the upcoming Wednesday Albertsons ad. The doubles are in the regular newspaper subscription… the actual Sunday paper is what you need.

  36. Sherwood, OR Albertsons:

Went there is AM to cash in on the yogurt / milk deal. I only have one set of doublers from the paper but I figured I could get 2 ads more while I was there (never was a problem)

Well I went up and asked for 2 more copies of the ad. The lady told me that they were limiting the ads to 1 per customer and that if I wanted an additional set I would need to buy the paper. :( Just very sad. Her attitude sucked. Maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

So, I was able to do the yogurt / milk deal only twice… darn…was hoping for 3.

Also the cashier informed me that today was the last day that any Albertsons will have the doublers in the store. From here on out they will be in the paper only.

I don’t know about you but to spend $2 to save $3….plus generate a bunch of wasted papers doesn’t seem worth it to me just to get multiples of their doubler. I will seriously have to re-think shopping at Albertsons or find another way of getting those doublers.

Hope ya’ll are having better luck!!

  37. Here is a great deal I did today because I have a paper subscription and get multiple coupons!!

Buy 5 Nature Valley Granola Thins $2.50/ea (12.50 total)
Use (5) .75/1 off granola thins 6/24/11 SS
    Double 3 of them

    Pay $6.50 OOP

Get: Free Milk CAT, $5.00 General Mills CAT, AND $3.00 Nature Valley CAT!!!!!!
Thats a $1.50 MONEYMAKER and FREE MILK!!!!!!!

If you have CATs from other deals or roll this one, it takes your OOP way down!

  38. Julie E says:

One important word for all of you who have been seeking things and finding empty shelves:
RAINCHECK!!! It is the cosmic shield for foiling shelf clearers :)

    • Yeah, but they won’t give me a raincheck for catalinas :( The catalinas are what make most of the deals really good at Albertson’s right now.

      • Catalina deals aren’t generally hosted by the store but by Catalina Marketing. The catalina deals usually run for a couple of weeks or so. These deals will be available again with a raincheck and double coupons next weekend if we do indeed get them. HTH

  39. Does anyone know if ANY store stocked up on the Fiber One Brownies and/or 80 calorie cereal???

  40. Thank you Fabulessly Frugal ladies for the great info. I bought 14 items today, spent $12 and saved over $37. I don’t subscribe to the paper, so I rely on the coupons in Yes and online. I am very excited with my results. Every little bit helps, and you ladies make it so easy. People ask if it is worth the time, and I tell them with your blog it takes me very little time so very worthwhile even for my few items. Keep up the good work! It is appreciated!

  41. Did anyone in Boise experience trouble with doubles today? I was able to ask for extra’s and had nothing but great service. My store is park center/boise ave. :)

  42. i asked one of my fave cashiers about the rumor of stores no longer carrying doublers. she said right now that is just the nampa/caldwell stores—that couponers there (due to the show)–her words–were being very RUDE–doing several transactions in a row, blocking off aisles…

my store had doubles available–i used 4 of my own sets and then 1 store set and then 1 single. i heard from my SIL, who works at different Alb’s in boise that they were limiting 1 sheet per customer.

whatever ends up happening, i’m just happy that i live 5 minutes from my Alb’s, so making several trips in a day is doable.

BTW: Albertsons is taking a loss on these doublers–while they recoup the MQ $, they do not get reimbursed for the double. how nice that we’ve been able to take advantage of this. we shouldn’t complain–a busines has to stay in business!

    • I agree that we should not get angry over doubles and every time I go to the store I see someone mad. To me they are a gift and I am grateful for them.

BTW: I am in Caldwell and as of yesterday my store was still handing them out. I can understand what you heard because I have seen those people your cashier is referring to. My husband and I could not even get down an aisle a few weeks back because of people blocking sale items so no one else could get to them. It was crazy! This Sunday was a much calmer crowd in there and it was so nice.

      • Jessica B says:

Have they gone back and forth on the issue of handing them out? when I asked them for some about a month ago (the only time I ever asked for any, I always bring my own) they told me they won’t be handing them out anymore. so I’ve never asked again about it since they said that’s how they will be doing it from now on.

    • THank you SOOOOOOO Much for posting that last paragraph!!! It drives me crazy when people whine about not getting more doublers. Albies is doing this a marketing tool for their shoppers, yes they do not get money for them!!! Be nice and kind to your Albies friends or they may stop them all together :)

  43. Jennifer says:

Heads up for anyone still wanting to do the Dreyers icecream deal in IF. The broadway albertsons has coupons for free A & W, Sunkist, or Cream Soda 2-liters up to 1.50 when you purchase 1 Dreyers ice cream. Price of the 2-liters are 1.59 so u get your ice cream plus 2liter of soda for .09 a piece! The coupons are in the cashiers drawers so just be sure to ask for them when making your purchase :)

And if your still looking to do the yogurt/milk there’s a chance they will have some there. I went in a little after 7 this morning and felt so bad because i took the last 4 off the shelf, but when I was checking out another lady asked about them and sure enough they had a bunch still in the back, i don’t know how many but he said there were alot. I love my manager :) Give him the heads up and he stocks up it’s great! Also they will still give extra dbls at the store this time, but i think next time is when they won’t have them :(

p.s. apparently i missed the fiber one brownie deal or i would of gotten some today, where is the coupon from that everyone is using,? figure even if they are out i could still get a raincheck for next time. Thanks!

    • the coupon for the free pop with purchase of icecream expired on 6/21

      • Jennifer says:

The coupon for free pop i am talking about didn’t come in a insert it’s a coupon that my store had on hand from the soda company. They have a sign up saying free soda with purchase of icecream and the cashiers have the coupons.

  44. Jeannette says:

Am I the only one not seeing the Heft foam plates coupon in the 5-22-11 RP? I’ve looked and looked…. Is it in a different weeks RP?

  45. Lee & Perrin Wortcestershire Sauce 10 oz is $3.69 per bottle – not a good stock up even with the doublers. The Emmett, ID, Albertsons either had different prices or were out of most items I was looking for. Used 6 doublers, gave 3 away to a much smarter couponer (who had ALL her coupons in a binder) who just happened to be shopping at the same time I was. Time to change my system from saving the inserts to clipping everything and taking them with me. At least this time the extra doublers didn’t go to waste. :)

  46. Also, the Weber Grill mates were .99 after coupons and doublers. I was out so went ahead and bought two anyway.

  47. Great service on doubles at the Orchard & Overland Albertson’s! They even had a quite a few Dannon’s in stock and some of the greek yougurt..
