  1. I went to albertsons in tooele utah last night…the cashier told me they will be doing doublers this weekend

  2. Do you think that the milk promo will work if I still have a raincheck for Crispix from a couple of weeks back? I was waiting for the doublers.

    • Holly – I did my rain check for crispex and it still printed the milk catalina. If it hadn’t printed it he said they would have just thrown the milk in for free. Unfortunately, my albertson’s adjusts the coupons down (even for the milk) so no overage by buying the cheaper milk. If yours does the same, be sure to get the good milk.

  3. I bought the nature valley granola bars yesterday ($1.77 when you buy 5) and the catalina printed for free milk. Combine with the .75/2 coupon and much better deal than the prices next week.

  4. Can you please verify the size and type of the bisquick that is on sale? That price seems pretty low for a big box.

    • The Ad says 20 oz and so does the coupon. It’s all good.

    • I double checked at the store tonight and the 20 oz is the smallest box of the regular Bisquick (Heart Smart has a 10.6 oz.) The larger 40 oz is the more standard size that most of us are probably used to buying. Still, if there are doublers this weekend, there is a $0.50 mfr coupon which would make the 20 oz box just $0.50 and you could grab a couple of them for less than a 1/3 the cost of the 40 oz box! :)

  5. We LOVE quaker chewy granola bars. If there really are doublers this weekend I can get them for $.50 a box. So I bought coupons on ebay!! We go through those boxes of granola bars sooooo fast. I can eat a box in a day! :) I just wish there were coupons so I could get the life cereal and Honey Bunches of oats for cheap…..

    • Depending on your Albertsons, you’ll only be able to double three of those coupons at a time. So if you buy 10, with the instans savings your total comes to $14,90. Use 5 coupons bringing it down to $9.90 and double 3 making it $6.90. So, $.69/box. I was just trying to figure this out myself to decide if it was worht buying lots of coupons. I guess $.69/box isn’t bad either though

      • Oh shoot, forgot you had to buy 10 in a transaction….. oh-well. I am still getting them! :) Thanks for pointing that out to me! I guess that just means less transactions I have to do, get it done in 4 transactions instead of 7!! that’s worth the extra $ I have to pay right there! lol

        • I figured it out. I am going to buy 6 granola bars at $1.49 ea, and 4 of the idahoan potatoes $.49 ea, total is $10.90, minus $6 (3 $1/2 coupons and 3 doublers) making it $4.90 OOP making each item $.49 a piece! doing it in 7 trasactions again, but that’s ok!! Plus I’ll get a little stock of potatoes which I can always use!

          • There is a coupon on couponnetwork for $1/3 Idahoan potatoes. That will knock a little more off your out of pocket!! Thanks for the scenario too – I’m going to use it for my granola bars as well as my oatmeal. Great idea!!

          • I am a very new couponer (Just started lasty week thanks to Fabulessly Frugal!!!) and Im a little confused with this deal. I am just starting my stock pile for my yearly supply and am in desparate need of these granola bars so I want to take advantage of this sale. Could you break it down with what items with which coupons you would put in each of the 7 transactions? The totals would be awesome too!

            THANKS SO MUCH!!!

          • Brittney, So sorry, I just got back on today, I hope I am not too late in helping you. I am going to go and do mine today, and this is what I am doing.

            trascactions 1-3:
            6 granola bars @ $1.49 ea=$8.94
            use 3 $1/2 granola bar coupons -$3
            use 3 doublers -$3
            4 Idahoan Potatoes @ $.49 ea= $1.96
use 1 $1/3 idaho potato coupon -1 (link found above in the weekly ad deals, but I couldn’t find it this morning on my other comp. :( )
            total oop= $3.90 plus tax

This is what I have for transaction 4
            6 granola bars @ $1.49 ea=$8.94
            use 3 $1/2 granola bar coupons -$3
            use 3 doublers -$3
            4 Idahoan Potatoes @ $.49 ea= $1.96
use 1 $.75/3 idaho potato coupon -$.75 (link found above in the weekly deals)
            total oop= $4.15 plus tax

            Transaction 5 & 6
            6 granola bars @ $1.49 ea=$8.94
            use 3 $1/2 granola bar coupons -$3
            use 3 doublers -$3
            4 Idahoan Potatoes @ $.49 ea= $1.96
            total oop=$4.90 plus tax

            Transaction 7
            4 granola bars @ $1.49 ea= $5.96
            use 2 $1/2 granola bar coupons -$2
            use 2 doublers -$2
            2 stove top stuffings @ $.99 ea =$1.98
            4 oreos @ $1.99 ea = $7.96
use 4 $1/1 oreo when you buy milk coupons -$4
4 milks (i have 4 free milk coupons)
            total oop: $7.90 plus tax

And if you don’t have coupons for the idaho potatoes, as you can see in transaction 5 & 6, it still makes each item $.49 ea, so I say that’s pretty cheap for a box of granola bars!! :)
            Good LUCK!!!

  6. I went to Albertsons yesterday and onlypaid $.48 for 10 bottles of FUZE!!!!!!
    It was AMAZING.

  7. I noticed not a single RED STAR for Albertsons this coming week. Was that intentional? I did notice many BLACK STARs.

  8. Coming on 4/17 redplum is a coupon for $1.00/1 Captin Crunch Cereal. With the doublers, these will be free:) 4 boxes, 10.00 – 4.00q’s -3.00 doublers -4.00 promo. Yeah, free cereal!

    • Nice…

    • I’m confused. The promo says 1.50 each when you buy 4. So by my math that would be:
      6.00-4.00(4 1.00 of CC)=2.00
2.00-1.50(the doublers will only double to the .50 in my Albertsons they won’t give me overage)= .50 for 4 boxes of CC. Not free but 12.5 cents a box for CC is definately a stock up price!

      • Albertsons should double (3) of the $1.00 coupons in one transaction. So that would be
        6.00-4.00(4 1.00 of CC)=2.00
        2.00-3.00= a $1 overage that they won’t give you, so= Free!
They would probably just double the (3) $1.00 coupons up to (1)$.66 (2)$.67, but it would still come out as being Free.

        • Which Albertsons do you use. I have never had any cashier that would do that. They would only double up to the .50 not .67 or .66

    • Does anyone know if Idaho will get the Captain Crunch coupon?? I sure hope so!

    • I checked the sunday coupon preview and the it looks like the coupon is $1.00/2 not $1.00/1. Sorry, but it doesn’t seem like it’ll be a free box.

  9. The 1/2 quaker coupon doesn’t work anymore! It says currently unavailable.

  10. IS the quaker instant oatmeal really 2.49/1.99 because I think it is 2.99/2.49 I think it may be a typo, I was about to order a bunch of coupons on ebay but then wondered if that was wrong I dont have an ad but i called someone. Anyway anyone know?

    • Lindsay, you can always see Albie’s current weekly ad on line at the Albertston’s website. You are correct, and that there appears to be a typo made on the Frugal blog. The Quaker Oatmeal Instant or Old Fashion is indeed $2.99/2.49, at least in the ad for a Treasure Valley zip code. (The Oreo cookies just to the left of the oatmeal in the ad are $2.49/1.99, so probably she just accidentally looked at the wrong pic/prices).

  11. Seattle Area only got a .50/1 Captain Crunch coupon.. bummer!

  12. I don’t know if you can find this coupon at all Walmarts, but I saw a tearpad coupon at Walmart in OR last night for free Rice Krispies Treats wyb 2 packs Shasta Soda. I don’t need any soda in my stockpile, as we are full, but if someone needed 4 packs of soda, you could get the 2 boxes of Rice Krispies treats free, which should then qualify you for the free eggs. I don’t know if this is a screaming deal, but I thought I would mention it.

  13. Does anyone know…with this free egg promo, are the free eggs given at the time of purchase, or is it a coupon for free eggs?

  14. I live in the Seattle area. In the 4/3 I have a coupon for $1/1 Filippo Betook olive oil. Just thought someone might find it helpful :)

  15. I live in the Seattle area. In the 4/3 ss I have a coupon for $1/1 Filippo Berio olive oil. Just thought someone might find it helpful :)

  16. I dont see the Jello coupon from the SS??? Anyone have a clue?

  17. Speedstick – $3.99 b1g1, use .50/1 and a doubler and pay .50 ea

  18. Does anyone happen to know if the fuze drinks are on sale B1G1 this week at albertsons in Idaho? I saw a post that someone said they were. ????? Thanks
