What coupons are you hoping to round up and snag a good deal with?   With no limits to the # of coupons you can round up, do you think round ups are better or worse than doubles?

Comments

  1. Do you think Wal-Mart will honor this Coupon Round-up promo?

    • they do just take the ad

      • NO, the do NOT ad match the round up. They’ll match any prices of sales, but will NOT round up coupons….

        • I have been to 2 differend Walmarts and they both honored it and already knew about it. I didn’t even need the add.

          • In Southeast Idaho they will not honor the round ups. I HATE that some stores do and some stores don’t. Makes it hard for consumers to know what to do!

            • Walmart in Meridian honored it this morning! :)

            • Where in Southeast Idaho are you?

              • Pocatello/Chubbuck

                • I lived in Pocatello for a few years, we just moved back to Boise and the Walmart in Pocatello is horrible for coupons. They never honored the coupon policy and never doubled. I wish they would, it would really help.

                  • Yeah, it’s ridiciouls. HOWEVER, their policy says they’ll match “prices” not necessarily coupons round-ups and match ups, so in their denfense they are doing it right…however I tried to use a $2 off coupon for a sample of Tide and they wouldn’t let me…they are becoming more strict.

            • I agree the Walmart in Idaho Falls and Ammon like to play dumb so take your adds and no they don’t round up. Also, watch for Albertson’s on Broadway they do not always carry what is in the advertisements.

              • Ive never had a problem at walmart in idaho falls or the albertsons on broadway, although yes the broadway one sometimes doesn’t have an item but i think it’s just because it’s the smallest albies i’ve ever been to but for customer service they rock!. Both are my fav stores to go to here. I understand it’s frustrating that they don’t take doublers or round ups at the walmart but like previous one said it says in their coupon policy that as a company they do not take them. For whatever reason the ones that do in other places have to have been a decision made by that stores general manager.

  2. the “nabisco snack crackers” are they any of the varieties that are on the $3/3 coupon?
    thanks
    kari

  3. I would rather get doubles than the round-up. I don’t need tons of stuff and would rather get a couple of smokin deals on stuff we use/need than some OK deals on a handful of stuff.

  4. Shawna Patton says:

I think that this is great and if there are doublers and you can combine the deals it will make this week of couponing AMAZING!!!!

  5. I love Round up!!!!!

  6. I like round up too. I hate breaking up my transactions for the doublers. Plus, I like the longer time frame. Thank you Albs!

  7. Just wondering of the date that is posted. Today is the 24th and it ends today? Or is that a typo….

    Thanks!

  8. 5/Overland had lots of Jimmy Dean brkfst sausage with $1 cpn on making it $2.50. Just lots of packaged meats with stickers at 1pm today. Even some Vaseline infusion lotion on clearance back by the bathroom

  9. Do you know if Las Vegas will be doing this? It is not in my ad at all. We usually get left out of all double and round up deals.

  10. Round up is great for those smaller value coupons, but not so great for the higher value coupons.

  11. I really don’t enjoy the doublers. I don’t like the stigma of the multiple transactions at Albs even though the cashiers are always awesome the people in line behind me with one item that haven’t figured out self check out and complain about “greedy couponers” kills the motivation to use the doublers. I am looking forward to stocking up mustard and toilet paper this week. We go through two bottles of mustard per month, at least. I’m hoping to get 8 to last me until BBQ season coupons.

  12. Is anyone else having text issues? The post text is showing up HUGE and all broken up. Is it the post, or my computer?

  13. Can you do more than one mix and match deal per transaction? I was wondering if I can buy 10 GM cereals in one transaction and get the $1.88 price on all 10, or will it only work for the first 5?

  14. I just can’t decide what I like more. I am just so thankful for Albertson’s doing doublers or round-ups. I think it is all great. I love my Albertson’s store and I just hate shopping anywhere else, so I’m thankful for all the fun promo’s they do. I have not had a chance to shop a round-up yet. It kind of seems like a treasure hunt. I don’t always bring my big binder but this is a week that I will make sure it goes with me anytime I’m in the car just in case I need to make an unexpected stop :)
I really do like the freedom of no limit but some of those double deals are crazy!

  15. veronica t says:

I am in Southern Ca and I almost never get doubles. I started couponing just in Dec and we have had only 1 set! Am I missing something?

  16. I was wondering where you found the French’s Mustard coupon — I can’t find it anywhere and I got 6 papers this week, SS and everything on the 1-22 , do any of you know maybe which page it was on I have a couple of them still in tact, thank you in advance — Sarah

  17. I am not finding the Vanity Fair coupon when I follow the link….does it depend on what zip code I enter? If it isn’t my zip code, can I still use the coupon?

    Thanks!

  18. I love the coupon Round Up because I don’t have to break up transactions or purchase a paper that the doublers come in. Double win!

  19. There’s a $1/2 Crystal Light coupon here:
    http://instoresnow.walmart.com/EnhancedRenderContent.aspx?id=101761

Add to that there’s a catalina offer!
Buy 3 Get $1.50 catalina coupon
Buy 4 Get $2.50 catalina coupon
Buy 5+ Get $4 catalina coupon

I bought 4 Crystal Lights as part of the Buy 10 Save $5 promo.

    (4) Crystal Light @ $2.49 each (promo price)
    Use (2) $1/2 coupons
    Get back a $2.50 Catalina

That’s like getting the Crystal Light for $1.37 each. I always have Crystal Light in the house, so this was a great deal for me :)

    • I did this deal today too!

You could sweeten this deal slightly:

Buy 5 @$2.49 (given you buy 5 other promo items)
      use (2) $1/2 Coupon
      Get Back a $4 catalina

Making these $1.29 each. It’s all my husband drinks and we were OUT!

  20. Hi I have a question, can we do the round up deal at Walmart and also can we do as many coupons as well???? If anyone know please let me know thanks so much

  21. Does anyone know if the $0.50/1 Birds Eye Steamfresh Chef’s Favorites Variety 01/08 SS is working for the Birds Eye Vegetables or Steamfresh $1.25?

  22. After coupons doubled here were my costs last night-

Snuggle- Clearance for 2.99 paid 1.99
    Dawn Dish Soap – .89
    Chobani- .29
    odwalla – 11
    Blistex- .69
    Ivory bar soap (3pack) .89

I stocked up on everything :) (Puyallup wa/ off canyon rd)

    • wow thats great my alb had the ivory soap for 1.50 for a three back so a got it for .50 :) I love the roundups way better I’m in Montana and we never see doubles anymore :(

  23. Well, Albertson’s was not nice to me. The cashier would not take the print out coupons (betty crocker site and coupons.com) saying they were “illegal” because they did not have 3 barcodes on them. Looking at the catalina’s and comparing them to the print out – they do have 3 barcodes – a shorter one is under a longer one – I am not sure WHAT happened. I was not there this time so I do not know how to figure this out.

  24. This is my 1st round up…..am liking it alot! :)
