  1. thank you for taking the time and posting all of the store match ups! Our family appreciates it so much!

  2. Do you think these are the best deals we are going to get for the p and g promos from now on? These are sad compared to what they used to be!

  3. I’ve been hoping we’d get one of those awesome P&G rebates again soon. But I haven’t seen any, have you?

  4. JUST THOUGHT I WOULD POINT OUT THAT THE PRINTABLE COUPON FOR OLD ORCHARD JUICE EXPIRES 3/2 SO WE WILL HAVE TO RUN TO ALBIES TOMORROW TO GET THE DEAL!

    • Michelle says:

I just printed coupons for this juice that are good until 3/29/2011, using one of the links posted here!

      • THE ONES I HAVE ARE FROM A WHILE AGO IM GONNA GO TOMORROW AND USE THEM THEN I WILL WAIT FOR DOUBLES AND GO AGAIN WITH THE NEW COUPONS. THERE WAS ALSO ALOT OF LINKS TO COUPONS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE I WAS ABLE TO PRINT QUITE A FEW! I LOVE CHEAP JUICE :)

        • Am I correct in stating that you won’t be able to use a dblr since you are already using a store Q? Only 1 store Q allowed per item in a transaction.

  5. I HAVE A QUESTION! WHEN YOU SAY LIMIT 10 ON THE JUICE AND ITS $1/4 IS THAT LIMIT 10 ON THE BOTTLE JUICE AND 10 ON THE FROZEN JUICE? OR 10 TOTAL? BECAUSE I HAVE 2 COUPONS FOR EACH WHICH WOULD BE 8 BOTTLES AND 8 FROZEN! ALSO HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS JUICE BRAND BEFORE? I USUALLY GET JUICY JUICE BUT I’M OUT AND THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD DEAL!

  6. Can anyone comment on this week’s Bounty and Charmin deals compared to the Kirkland t.p and papertowels at Costco? I’m wondering if buying these name brands with the coupons/catalinas in lieu of Costco is really saving money?

    • I personally went to Fred Meyers this week for my Toilet Paper and Paper Towels. They have an in ad coupon for $5.99 each (your first 2). The coupon includes: 12-16 double rolls Charmin or 6 big rolls or 8 regular rolls Bounty. I purchased 1 of each. I also loaded (from the Fred Meyer website) e-coupons onto my freddies card $3/1 (charmin) and $2/1 (bounty). I paid $6.98 (before tax) for both items…don’t know how this compares to costco but thought it was a great deal and it is good until 3/5…hope that helps

    • Michele says:

I have been wondering about the quality of the Kirkland TP also…I’m afraid to buy that big bundle without knowing!

Can anyone say if it’s a far cry from Charmin or Quilted Northern?

      • Crystal says:

Ummm pretty sure the kirkland brand of tp is very thin and not comparable at all with Charmin. But we get the Charmin ultra soft, so its one of the nice ones. We bought Kirkland once for the kids a long time ago cuz they go thru it so fast, but we kept a charmin in there as well. Hope that helps. I like the bounty as well. I haven’t tried the kirkland brand of paper towel, so not sure how they compare.

      • I can’t stand the Kirkland brand. I bought it a few months ago and I can’t wait to get rid of it. I put it in my kids’ bathroom.

        • I will vouch for the Kirkland Paper Towels. Love them!!!! But I hate the Kirkland brand TP. I guess I am just a TP snob and will shell out the extra dough for the Charmin.

      • I bought the kirkland tp for the first time and I don’t mind it at all. I used to buy the charmin or quilted northern, but I find the kirkland gets the job done and is not as thin as other bargain brands. It is still quite soft. I’m going to continue with it because for me it is worth it in the savings.

      • Michele,
I’ve gotten used to the Kirkland brand because of the ability to buy it in bulk. But couponing seems to save money AND allow me to buy something softer :) The KB papertowels have always worked well. But as with the t.p. couponing is allowing me to get a better quality brand for (hopefully) a few less dollars! Costco will accept any return with a receipt. If you try a product, don’t like it, return it.

  7. Any word on doubles for Sunday?

  8. Interesting thing….I live in Phoenix, AZ…and our Albertson’s weekly circular (online) is showing General Mills cereal or the Albertson’s brand cereal only…..no Kelloggs. And it’s showing Albertson’s brand tuna only, no Starkist. I know that prices can vary regionally of course, (for instance GM cereal is $1.77 yet you say Kelloggs and $1.88)….but is it typical for the BRANDS to be different? We don’t like the Albertson’s brand tuna….odd aftertaste almost chemicaly….so I’d much prefer Starkist and we eat enough that .39 is worth going in multiple times (with multiple kids with dollars in hand, lol) to get the limit of 3. But how do we get the Starkist that is apparently in your ad at our store? And what area are you in, just out of curiosity? Thank you.

    • We are in Idaho and our deals tend to encompass the NW albertsons stores. AZ is not included so your ad would be different. Sorry. :(

  9. Question about swiffer wet refills. I have buy one refill get one free coupons. Will this scenario work?: swiffer refill buy (2) $7.79 ea
    downey (1) $5.19
    total: $20.77
use B1G1 free swiffer refill mfq (-$7.79) and $1/1 downey mfq (-$1) Get $5 cat = $6.98 OOP

Not sure if they allow B1G1 q’s to work this way. Thanks for your feedback!

    • I guess the $6.98 would not actually be OOP since I factored in the catalina.

    • where can you get buy one refill get one free coupons?
I have only seen buy the product kit and then get a refill free…. but I have the duster and swiffer and would prefer to stock up on the refills but don’t have B1G1 for refills only, help! :)

      • I get the Idaho Press Tribune and that is where I got my coupons from. It was in a p&g insert , but since I clip and file all my coupons, I could not tell you the date. It does expire on 3/31/11 though. I have a couple extra if you would like them :). My email is nallen_rn at msn dot com.

  10. I purchased 5 Tombstone Pizzas and received a $1.50 off 2 coupon from the catalina. Question can I go back and use the store coupon with the catalina coupon?

    • Cool. Yes you can stack the store coupon with the catalina coupon because the catalina is considered a manufacturers coupon. :)

      • Thanks. Thought so wanted to make sure. Went back today bought 2 Tombstone pizzas, used my coupon and received another $1.50/2 Tombstone coupons.

  11. I have a question on the Tide Scenario – couldn’t you buy 2 Tide Detergent and 2 Tide Stain Release, use 2 $.35/1 Tide Detergent coupons and 2 Buy One Detergent Get 1 Stain Release coupons? You would pay the same out of pocket and get 2 free Stain Release. Did I get a different coupon in my area than others did? – Just wondering.

  12. cjensen says:

Did the P & G insert go in the Idaho Statesman? I purchased 3 papers at Walmart and got 2 from the Statesman sales rep at Fred Meyers and none of them had the P & G insert.

    • It should have been in the statesman. I have had issues with my paper being in tack…I always check the paper before I buy. I would call the statesman and complain…I don’t know if it will do you any good but it is worth the call…sorry you did not get your insert…really

    • I bought a 2/27 paper at Walmart, and it did not have a P&G, only a skimpy Smart Source. I was bummed, because I wanted that P&G insert. I usually pick them up at Walmart because they are only $1.30 as opposed to $2 elsewhere.

Later on Sunday I was at Walgreens, and there was a sign right on their Statesman rack advertising P&G savings inside. So I picked one up and thumbed through it, and sure enough, the big thick P&G insert was there. So I bought another paper. A couple days later I picked up a free Sunday paper from a guy selling subscriptions at Albertsons, and it did not have the P&G either.

A guy at the Statesman once explained to me that with store or newsstand copies, you are never guaranteed coupon inserts. With a home-delivery subscription you will always get all the coupons available, but they do not always have enough inserts for store/newsstand copies. They have some sort of priority list for which stores get what inserts, and in which area of town, when there is not enough to go around. You can call the Statesman and complain, but I don’t think it will do any good.

I always thumb through the paper to see what inserts are there before I buy multiple copies.

      • Also, I would add that if you want to get multiple copies every week, it is well worth it to subscribe. I did that for the first 6 months of 2010 — got 4 copies of the Sunday paper delivered to my doorstep every Sunday morning for only $2/week.

After a while they started piling up, and I just couldn’t stand it, so I cancelled, and just pick them up here and there when I feel so inclined, and use mostly IP’s. I do like to get the P&G insert, so I usually pick up two copies of that issue, which is plenty enough coupons for me.

Good coupons for items I want to stock up on I’ll buy from an online service. It’s more expensive, but it works better for me.

        Just my $.02 worth.

  13. Valerie says:

On the P&G sale it states, “Minimum purchase requirement calculated after manufacturer coupons are redeemed.” So does that mean if I get my total under $20 after my coupons I won’t get the $5 catalina?

    • That is some tricky wording that Albertsons has put in their ad,but ironically it never works that way. As long as you reach the $20 before coupons your catalina should print.

      • I was told by one of the managers that the cashier has to push total before putting in the coupons and then the CAT will print.

  14. Hi,
Diapers are considerably cheaper if you subscribe and save on amazon mom.
A pack of Size 3 – 204 ct Pampers diapers costs $40.88 but if you subscribe and save, it costs $28.62 which is 0.14 a diaper! (you can always cancel subscriptions). Here is the link below:
    http://www.amazon.com/Pampers-Baby-Diapers-Economy-Count/dp/B000VHPGVK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299177450&sr=8-1

I tend to buy earth’s best or seventh generation diapers because they don’t use harsh chemicals like bleach and other synthetics on their diapers.
On amazon.com (subscribing and saving) they are 0.18 a diaper (still considerably cheaper then pampers at walmarts and albertsons with coupons)!
    http://www.amazon.com/Earths-Best-TenderCare-Chlorine-Diapers/dp/B001TUZI3Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1299177638&sr=1-1

  15. I was at Albertsons this evening and spotted $1/2 peelie coupons on some of the Quaker granola bar boxes. They were only on a new kind — cocoa flavor, if i’m remembering right — in a different colored box than the regular ones.

At 3/$5, if you bought two boxes and used $1/2 coupon with a doubler this weekend, that’s only $.67/box.

  16. Just found Starkist tuna pouches for $1 each…
    Buy 6
    Use (3) .75/2 from today’s paper
    Use 3 dbls
    Pay $1.50 before tax
    Get $1.50 cat
    Oop Free!!

  17. Juliana says:

At our Albertsons on 57th in Spokane South Hill Old Orchard the sale price was NOT $1, it was $1.39!!! Bummer. Hopefully it will be cheaper for the Double sale?!

  18. Didn’t you get a store coupon in your ad? The store coupon is for $1!
