Becky, Please let me know how Ibotta works. I see posts about it all of the time, but I do not understand. I have asked previously, but my question must have not been found. Thank you.
Sure! Ibotta is a “Coupon” app, for your android or iPhone. After you download the app (details found here) you activate the offers you want (by reading something, answering a questions, etc). After you have activated the offers to their full amount (usually between $.50-$1.00) you go buy the product at an Ibotta supported store (there’s a list on the app of stores near you-it changes based on your GPS). Then you upload your receipt (I usually do mine in the parking lot) by taking a picture with the app via the camera on your phone, and scanning the barcode on the item.
After that, it usually takes about 1 hour (they say up to 24, but I’ve never had it take that long, you’ll see money in your account. Not the $25+ Dollars you have sitting there AVAILABLE to redemption, but actual redeemed money (under withdraw cash on the app). After you hit $5 you can send it to your paypal account, or at any time you can donate to a school or to United Way.
Does that answer your question?
