I am trying a new recipe that ties in with this sale. I am going to make Pork Roast with Apples and Onions in the crockpot. If we all like it I am going to stock up on the Pork Shoulder Picnic roast at .87 cents a pound. I also have seen some BBQ Pulled Pork recipes that call for this. My family is going to learn to love pork when I can get it for less than a dollar a pound!
Here’s a couple more ideas: Cook pork in apple juice in crock pot for 8 hrs. When done add Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce – make pork sand! YUM! OR Cook pork in Enchilada Sauce for 8 hours serve over cabbage with radishes, lime, avocados – yum!
