I noticed that you suggest loading the just 4 u coupon and using a manufacturers coupon on top of it. Safeway doesn’t allow both so I am a bit confused. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Kristina
Kristina, according to the Safeway coupon policy, you can stack a manufacturer’s and a store coupon, just like before and they can be any combination of e-coupons/paper. These are store coupons because they are price point coupons and contain the word “each” on the Just 4 U site. You are right though you cannot stack a paper manufacturer’s coupon with a Just 4 U manufacturer’s coupon, the register will beep and not allow this.
Oh, and I tested several today. For example the Ken’s Dressing is itemized on the receipt as such:
Ken’s Dressing $3.99 (regular price)
Card Savings $2.00 (sale price)
Just 4 U Store Coupon $0.80
Mfr Coupon $1.00
Final Price: $0.19
Therefore, it allowed the stacking of the Just 4 U store and paper manufacturer’s coupon.
Last week I found some peelies for $2.00 off Campbell’s sauces when you buy beef or chicken. I bought a couple to try. They were $2.49 each. I had the butcher wrap the breasts individually. $1.49 for the breast, $.49 for the sauce. Both for under the original price of the sauce. This week they are on sale for $1.99! Cheap chicken and free sauce!
