  1. hmmm… not that fab.

  2. i dont see how the hungry jack hashbrowns would be .15 each. if it’s 2.29 for one and the other is free. wouldnt you use one .50 round it and just another .50 so .79 for both? or do they round up coupon for free item also?

    • You can use two coupons if it’s $0.50 off 1 so you are rounding up two coupons for the buy one get one free

    • Correct! You can use 2 items, they are cheaper than last week with doublers. You can only use a doubler on the item you are paying for but because ALL coupons round to $1 it will make both coupons valued at $1 giving you $2 off leaving a balance of $.29 for 2!

  3. Can you explain to me how the wishbone dressing is free? If it is $1.49 and you round up a coupon to $1.00 then wouldn’t it still cost .49?

  4. Letty~Oregon City~OR says:

    Q: Can I use the $0.75/2 Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent with the store coupons on sale for $1.79 limit 2… $1.79X2= $3.58-$1.00(round up)= $2.58/2= $1.29ea Thanks

    • Yes you can combine a manufactures coupon with a store coupon & it will also round! Great find!

      • I didn’t think on in-ad coupons they would round up the manufacturer coupon, since they are already giving a store coupon. Am I wrong on that? I thought that it was one or the other since the rounding is like a store coupon. Please advise! THANKS

        • The in ad coupon will not round but if there is a manufactures coupon you can use it, it will round then stack it with a store coupon. This is about the only time you can do those on top of each other.

        • Letty~Oregon City~OR. says:

I did it and it work ok

  5. New to shopping at Albertsons! If the ad says 2 for $5.00, do I have to purchase two, or is it also $2.50 for 1? For instance on the Suave deodorant it’s 3 for $5.00, but the coupon limit is 2. So if I only bought 2, they would still be $1.67 each less the coupons?
    Thanks!

    • I THINK on those it is that you have to buy in sets of three cause I got in trouble on club crackers once when the sale was 4 for $8 and I didn’t have them in sets if 4. I ended up paying regular price for the fifth and sixth ones. I am new too though so wait for Ang to respond to be positive! ;)

    • This is where the stores get tricky! You do not have to buy 2 to get them for $5 (I think the deodorant says 3/$5) but no you don’t need to buy 3. This is where it’s almost a mental “catch” if you will. You see that & think oh’ that’s a great price I need to buy 3 then & the stores “caught” you into buying more than you wanted. There is a catch though (all these catches!) when the ad says ‘Must buy… to get…’ then you have to buy that many. At Albertsons the back of the ad is almost always this way. It will say ‘Save $5 Instantly wyb 10′. Does that help? Let me know if you need more help with this, it’s a tricky thing!

      • Yes, Ang, that makes perfect sense! While I was going through the ad waiting on a response, I did notice that. For example the Kellogg cereal has to be 4 and the Cascade Ice water has to be 3, or else you pay the individual price! Thank you so much!

  6. Just make note that the Wish Bone dressing coupon states only 2 coupons per transaction.

    • Letty~Oregon City~OR says:

lol… I didnt pay attention to the limit.. I got 5… oooopppsssss!!!!!!

    • There are a lot of coupon limits lately! I went to get some stuff last night & thankfully the cashier had already noticed that the coupon I was using was a 2 limit. The nice thing about the wishbone limit it says “per shopping trip”. Albertsons will let you go to your car & come back, like doublers. Thanks for pointing that out Kacie!

  7. Letty~Oregon City~OR says:

I bought 18 Yoplait yogurt used three coupons and it gave me a $1.25 Cat!!!! So they came out to $0.26 ea..

    • WOW thanks for that! I needed to stock up on yogurt!

      • Letty~Oregon City~OR. says:

I know me too…. I have noticed in the past that there’s always a cat with the yogurts. I was planning to get it any way. I wanted to see if the cat would come out. I’m not sure how many u have to buy to get the cat….. Kids r gonna be happy when they come home!!!!!!

        • I take a cookie sheet & cover it with wax paper then drop small amounts of yogurt on it. Then put it in the freezer for a bit until they are frozen. Then I put them in a zip lock bag & toss that in the freezer. When my littlest 2 want a snack it’s perfect!

          • Letty~Oregon City~OR. says:

My daughter is two. Can can eat 2 yogurts if I let her. Lol lol. I like ur idea. Thanks for sharing!

        • Okay, I totally know what a Catalina is, but when I read this post I just started giggling. All I could see was a cat eating yogurt :-)

          • Lol I always through the staff off when I say “there’s a cat for that” they look at me odd until they realize I mean catalina. The deal with these yogurt singles must by 18 to get the cat. I bought 12 last night, no cat. Just an FYI for those who wanted that deal.

  8. Gig Harbor had plenty of Bounty, Wishbone and some Colgate left this morning (about 9:30)

  9. I had a horrible experience as well today with the “round up promo”. I had everything worked out so I could avoid any confusion and as soon as I handed the clerk my coupons she said “oh sorry, I can’t accept any of these ones…any that say manufactures coupon; redeemable at walmart” the manager came over and said that they realized as of today that these had been being used but that Albertson’s policy is that if ANY coupon has a competitors name in any way listed then they will not accept (these were printed from coupons.com) Horrible experience and I should have just politely left as it then messed up my save 5 spotlight deals etc…just an expensive mess! Have you all ever encountered this and what would you do?

    • Kellie, my local Boise-area store will not take any coupons that mention any other store on them. Other local Albertsons stores will take them if they scan. That’s been my experience lately.

  10. Still pretty new to couponing and I had a horrible experience today with the “round up promo”.

    • Sadly this is true at a few stores. If it says the name of another store they will not take them. I went over this once with the store director because it has an address to send the coupon in to get paid. I was told they don’t get paid for them though. I try really hard to make sure that I don’t add them on the coupon match ups. As for it messing your trip up for the wyb 10 deal, yes I have walked away before. Well, I put everything in my cart & just redo my transactions. Some times it’s worth adding a few of the “filler items” like the fuze on this ad.

  11. my Albertsons here in Spokane says they no longer accept a manufacturer coupon on free items. I know the policy used to say they did but can’t find it now. Can someone help?
