★– means this is when we stock up!!! {aka Extreme Couponing… done right}
No star: If we don’t star an item but it is listed here, that means it is still a decent price. It’s not necessarily better than any competitor’s price, but it will save you a trip across town.
Albertsons Ads vary by region. This ad match-up is reflects deals for the Northwest Region (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, NV, & WY ).

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

any word on doublers! they would be great this weekend!
So far we are hearing no. So sad this spree of doublers & round ups is over!
Seems like every time there is a GREAT ad they don’t have them. It just doesn’t make sense.
I was under the conclusion that Albertson’s is being sold, and there will be no more doublers….is this true??
Albertsons was sold & the Albertsons LLC is taking over fully on March 1. Past that all we know are rumors. One day we hear no more doublers, round ups, or rewards cards. Another day we hear that they are going to keep everything the same. It’s my understanding they used to own 200 stores & bought 900 more. The 900 are doing doublers and so on. We are hoping (& praying) they just keep with the trend of the 900. At this point that is my full knowledge about it. We will keep everyone updated when it’s figured out. Thanks!
Being an employee of Albertsons the final sale is not done till March 18th. Supervalu and NIA(New Albertons Inc.) are working together and no one knows what will happen. It’s business as usual for now. Lots of rumors but no answers from the top.
That’s what I’ve heard they are working well together to make it better for everyone involved as well as customers. Thanks for the update!
I bought 7 shampoos (came with a free sample of hairspray) and 7 conditioner. I use three 3.00 of when you buy two and 4 buy one get one free plus a 2.00 catalina I had from last week .
Was 62.86 I paid 22.57 with tax savd 40.29. and it printed out a 5.00 catalina. so I actually only paid 1.25 per bottle. what an awesome deal
Great job!
CONFUSION ALERT! How is this transaction printing the 5 cat? The ad reads minimum purchase requirement calculated AFTER manufacturer’s coupon redeemed. The above was only 22.57 including tax. Did you have additional products? What did I miss?
I know it’s a little confusing I will run in tonight & post the full details tomorrow. I am guessing that the cat is printing because it’s not taking the coupons off first.
So, does the catalina print after items are scanned and prior to payout, or not until after payout and trans is complete? Thank you!!
The catalina prints after you pay.
I have a quick question: If I bought 8 Pantene, could I use 4 of the B1G1 coupons and 2 $3/2 coupons? I know that I can’t use a $3/2 and a B1G1 if I’m only getting 2 bottles, but if I’m purchasing 8, would the $3/2 attach to the 4 full-price bottles?
Yes, you can use 4 BOGO’s on all 8 then the 4 you are “paying for” out of that you can use 2 $3/2 on those. Hope that helps!
Thank you!
I bought 5 shampoos and 5 conditioners used 4 B1G1 and 4 $3/2 coupons as only 4 like coupons were accepted making it $7.74 and got $5 cat back!
I just came from Albertsons and bought 5 shampoos and 5 conditioners used 4 B1G1 and 4 $3/2 coupons as only 4 like coupons were accepted making it $7.74 and got $5 cat back!
Great job! Thanks for the reminder of 4 limit on the coupons!
Just wondering if this should be 4B1G1 coupons and 3 $3/2 coupons instead, because the B1G1 needs 4 items and the 4 $3/2 coupons would need 8 more items for a total of 12 not 10, right? I am still trying to get my coupon math right! Thanks.
If you are buying 10 then you can use only 4 BOGO because the coupon limit is 4 & you can use 4 of the $3/2 then it leaves 2 without coupons that you are paying for. So it would be best if you bought 8 & used the same amount of coupons. That will make it 4 you get free & 4 you are buying with the $3/2 coupon. Does that help? It’s really the only way to get more than 4 items & do it right because those stinky limits that they are putting on the coupon it’s self.
So, I am still a bit confused, because last week someone asked if they could use a B1G1 coupon plus a $3/2 coupon on 2 bottles. The answer was no, I believe. However, the answer said to buy 4 bottles and use 2 of the B1G1 coupons and 1 of the $3/2 coupons. So, I thought if you bought 8 bottles you could only use 4 of the B1G1(attaches to the 4 free bottles) and 2 of the $3/2 coupons (2 bottles x 2 coupons good on 2 = 4 and attaches to the 4 non-free bottles). Are you saying I can buy 8 bottles and use 4 B1G1 coupons plus 4 $3/2 coupons, because that would be a fabulous deal.
Okay you are right! I made a mistake saying use 4 $3/2 on my last comment. These are so confusing & I forgot that it’s off 2 already. So everyone reading this is how your transaction should look:
Buy 8 Pantene products
Use 4 BOGO coupons
Use 2 $3/2 coupons
This will give each item a coupon – can’t do anymore than that unless you buy 10 then you can add 1 more $3/2.
So I went the Albertson today and they would not let me do the panteen coupons. I was buying
4 pantene products
Use 2 BOGO coupons
Use 1 $3/2 coupons.
The computer would take it. Did I miss someting?
I am planning a trip tonight, so haven’t gone personally yet. Sounds like it has worked for other readers. But I will say that I know Albertsons computer system is getting revamped with the sale. Not sure why it didn’t take them. Did you ask the manager what he thought?
Yes and they went with the computer.
Do you happen to know if the Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls are part of the 10 for $10 promotion? The ad just says cinnamon rolls, grands and crescent rolls.
Most likely not, I don’t think they make it in the small 5 pack. (the ones on this sale are the small packs).
Since this is in the ad, are we allowed to get a rain check if necessary?
Thanks so much
Yes this is an item you can get a rain check on. Since there is no cat or limit, if your store is out it would be a good idea.
Hi, I have a question on the cereal deal. Can I use the $5 off cataina from my first transaction on more cereal and still get another $5 off my next purchase? I would like to stock up but am not sure if that would work. Thanks.
Yes you can!
Thanks for your prompt response.
Why isn’t anybody talking about the freezer/coupon deal? It seems like a great chance for a beginner to start a stock pile. My daughter is just getting started. She bought the freezer. Got the free coupon book and immediately got $204 groceries that she really has a use for. Her OOP was only $37 and she still has at least 30 free items she can get when she has room for them,
Ive been going to my Albertsons on Cherry and boy im so mad that they are changing there coupons policy. If it says WALMART on the coupon they can’t take it. If it says one 1 then only one can be in that transaction. DUMB!
As for the Walmart on the coupons right now Albertsons is looking further into seeing if they can begin taking them since we have found out that it’s only a promo that Walmart pays for but coupons .com is saying they will pay back for Albertsons using them. At this time though it is totally against there coupon policy to take them. As for the coupons limits, if Albertsons does not follow what the coupon limits are (stated on the coupon) they will not be paid for the coupons. So it’s in everyone’s best interest to follow it. Stinks when having to shop, but it’s the best way as these coupons keep changing.
