There are several versions of the Chunky Monkey Smoothie out there but this is the one I like best. I LOVE that this smoothie is quick, easy and healthy! (It’s also the only way I can get my kids to eat bananas!) A perfect treat or after school snack that you can feel good about!

Ingredients
- 1 cup cold low fat milk
- 1 medium ripe banana (frozen tastes great too!)
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
- 1-2 Tablespoons mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 Tablespoons Nestle Nesquik powder
- 1 cup crushed ice
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth! Enjoy!

The amount of sugar and fat cancels out any health benefits the banana had.
I’m not trying to rain on your parade here but come on, let’s be realistic. Don’t try to pass this off as a “healthy” snack when it isn’t.
I am a huge fan of peanut butter/chocolate/banana smoothies. This one is easy and I usually have everything on hand. I do substitute the Nestle Nesquik with Ovaltine and I also throw in a handful of granola or oats. It is great with the bananas but is also good with strawberries. Thank you Jessica for all you do!
