KEY:
★- means the price is better than generic/wholesale/mass store prices!
★ – means this is when we stock up!!! {aka Extreme Couponing… done right}
No star: If we don’t star an item but it is listed here, that means it is still a decent price. It’s not necessarily better than any competitor’s price, but it will save you a trip across town.
Albertsons Ads vary by region. This ad match-up is reflects deals for the Northwest Region (OR, WA, ID, MT, NV, & WY ).

It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

I have a coupon for the Grands sweet rolls from the SS 12-9 for .50/1 so doubled they will be free. Just thought i would share that:)
YAYA! Thanks for sharing that one! When does it expire?
It expires 3/2/2013
Yep not till march.
Ya! I will have to add it thanks ladies!
It’s not the Grands that are on sale for $1, though, so the coupon isn’t valid. There is a .40 off 2 regular cinnamon rolls that works, making it .60 for a 5-pack.
Hmmm, mine scanned in just fine. There is no size listed on the coupon. I got three of the 5 rolls containers free!
When you look at the picture on the coupon of the $.50/1 & the picture in the ad they are exactly the same. Sounds like it will not be an issue.
Are the Grands Sweet Rolls on sale for $1.00? I don’t want your trip to get messed up; better check again.
They are on sale for $1. They are the smaller size, but the coupon does not have a size limitation. You might want to double check your local ad just in case, but most of our stores have them for $1.00.
@Sophie, Grands biscuits are on sale for $1.00, Grands sweet rolls are not on sale for $1.00. She might try to use a Grands sweet roll .50/1 on the cinnamon rolls that are $1.00, but, it is the wrong coupon on the wrong product. You look at the add. Best I could do this morning was .60 per cinnamon roll doubling a .40/2 coupon.
Because both the items are listed together on the ad they have been left together on the list. So yes, please use the right coupon with the right item. The list says which ones go to which item. The sweet rolls will be a little bit more because they are the lower of the coupons.
Did Boise get the Special K coupons? I can’t find them in any of my inserts.
I know right?! With so many inserts who can find anything! haha Sadly no, Idaho did not get the coupon in the insert but the printables are great.
$1 off 2 ANY Kelloggs cereals, 12/9/12 Redplum!
I saw that coupon this morning Melissa! I was excited because I would rather use the $1/2 than the .70/1 and save my doubles for other things since I dont get that many papers!
Let’s not forget that we can double any of the $1 catalinas that we have left over from two weeks ago. Mine expire on 1/14.
Heather thanks for the reminder! I think I have one or two around!
Any speculation with the sale of Albertsons … ? Twice the Value (a.k.a. Doublers) gone … I will cry ; the world might as well have ended if this comes true.
I have only heard that they are going to do away with preferred cards, I have not heard them pulling doublers. Let all couponers pray they are not! It’s such a great way to shop at Albertsons & save a ton! Though if they get rid of preferred cards I will be sad when I gas up my suburban at full price!
So, without the preferred cards, are they just another grocery store with no particular savings draw? That will totally stink!
They might get rid of needing a preferred card for the sale price, and just give the sale price to everyone! That would be a good thing!
The bad part of getting rid of the card though is that I use it to get discounts on my gas. I have had as much as $.50 off per gallon!
I didn’t even know Albertsons had gas!
I have been wondering the same thing. It would be sad to see doubles go. Since it has been mentioned that the Preferred Card will be going away, it would reason that the NW Albies will start to follow the Albertsons LLC guidelines, and they don’t do doubles. Only speculation on my part of course!!!
Im sure it will take a little while for anything to happen either way.
I just really hope they don’t close the stores. That would be really sad for all the employees for are here in the valley and beyond.
Sadly that is the same fear I have!
Ang, in regards to the gas rewards (as long as we have it)…..a while back (November) when they had the gift card deal (buy 4100 in gft card get $20 OYNO), I got $1000 in gift cards for stores I was going to use fr Christmas shopping and year-round shopping….I then used the $20 catalina to purchase other items…..when I went to the pump I saved $1.45 per gallon (filled my truck for $36!)…..then I thought: even without getting catalinas why don’t I buy gift cards before shopping anywhere? I mean they have gift cards to almost any store and if I am going to shop there why not get the card before?! if am going to earn 1000 points towards my $5 and eard gas points where is the loss?!
AGREED! My husband works close the the stinker station so he normally uses our gas discount. It’s such a great bonus, I hope it stays. Thanks for your share!
I didn’t know that someone would work tirelessly to save $ on groceries by couponing and then turn around and try to afford fuel for a Suburban. One step forward, two steps back?
To come to her defense, she does have 8 kids at home!
I don’t think she is going to be able to haul everyone around in a Prius?!? Gotta cut corners somewhere to even out the necessity of a larger vehicle, why not groceries!!
Thanks for your encouraging comments Sage.
Hmm…I have a paid off Volvo that gets about 21 MPG. Not the best mileage, but that doesn’t mean I am going to turn around and spend thousands on a new or used car just to get better gas mileage! We all save where we can. I’m not sure why you feel a need to judge someone else for their personal choices when they are just trying to help everyone save a little bit of money.
Sophie! Wahoo for having a paid for car… you go girl!
No I don’t feel like I have taken any more steps back of having a suburban. It would cost me way more if I had to take our car twice to get everyone every where. We have had our suburban long before we started couponing. I have to say with couponing I was able to pay it off way faster! So to have a vehicle paid off because of couponing & save money on gas because of the Albertsons rewards card. Ya, I think it’s about 10 steps forward. Hope that helps you to understand where I’m coming from a little bit more. Thanks for the sweet comment Sage & Monica. Sophie – yes it is a breath of fresh air not making a car payment every month!
Do you know which inserts we are getting this weekend? I keep hearing SmartSource and Red Plum, but on the SCP only the RP is showing.
Thanks!
We are getting the SS & RP!
great…thanks!!!!
Found Kraft Mayonise markdown to $1.99. Used .50 cents off coupon and a doubler and only paid .99 cents.
Today’s coupon insert included Ken’s Steak House Dressing $1/1 and Albertsons has them for $1.67, so if you double it, it would be free with and overage of .33 cents
Sadly you can’t get the overage with a doubler but still will be FREE! Great find thanks for sharing!
My coupon is $1 off of 2.
Hey, I am new to couponing and just wondering… I know if it says, “2 for $4″ like with the Dreamfield’s pasta this week, you have to buy them in sets of two. But what about when it says, “10 for 10, Mix, Match, and Save”? Do you have to buy 10? On the front page it says, “Buy 1,2, or more!” I was looking at the Grands/Pillsbury biscuit deal…
This is going to be confusing so tell me if I loose you! Just because something says “2 for $4″ doesn’t always mean you have to buy 2. I always ask the cashier if I want to know. Sometimes if I have a lot of time I can have them price check it & see what just one rings up as. As for the 10 for 10 mix & match you do not have to buy 10 you can buy as many or as few as you want. Now were it get’s tricky is if the ad says “buy 10 get $5 off instantly”. This is when you have to be sure to buy the 10 (or whatever amount it tells you). Hope that helps!
If anyone is planning a TTV trip tonight, Special K has $1 off fruit peelies. I used $1 off 2 Special K + 2 fruit peelies, used 3 TTV = pretty awesome deal, especially if you still have ibotta,
I have a friend who was told by a cashier this past weekend that that was the LAST time we would see twice the value coupons/ doublers. is this true?
That’s also what we are hearing. Sad day!
