Any word of doublers again yet?
The word I am hearing is no not this weekend.
I have had a problem a couple of times at my Albertsons when I tried to use a coupon that said “Redeemable at Walmart”. Today the cashier told me they could not accept any coupons that had another stores name on it. I tried to explain to her that “Redeemable at Walmart” is different then “Redeem only at Walmart”, but she insisted she couldn’t accept it so I just made my purchase without those coupons. I am just curious if you have any suggestions to avoid this in the future?
I hope that I didn’t put one in the post for “walmart” I try to watch for them. Yes, sadly the cashier was right if ANY other companies name appears on the coupon they will not take them. Some times there are ones that will say Rite Aid to. Only those stores listed will take them. I know it sounds odd but it’s my understanding they won’t be paid by the clearing house for them.
My understanding is that they would be paid by the clearinghouse. I know that is Albertson’s policy, but I still think they would be paid. Safeway and Fred Meyer (unless they have changed policy) both will accept coupons with another store name, as long as it is a manufacturer coupon. I don’t really think they would do this if they didn’t get their money for them. If the coupon says redeem only at “Walmart” or wherever- that may be another story. I won’t go there. I have no idea.
I don’t have a Fred Meyer or Safeway by me so, I’m not a good one to ask. As far as I know there policies haven’t changed, so your probably right. I do know that Albertsons will not take them though. I’ve talked & talked to them they are not budging.

Quaker sale?
Normally Albertsons has a really good Quaker sale in January. Yes Mel, I am hoping this is not it! With all the price changes in things, it may sadly just be.
Before I pop over to Albies for the Lloyd’s/Country Crock sides deal, wanted to make sure that the coupon for Hormel Compleats micro meal linked to the lloyd’s deal is the correct coupon for the Country crock sides. I’d be embarrassed to try and pass off the wrong coupon, lol. I know they are the same company. Any info would be awesome!

The coupon that is listed is not for the compleats micro meal. It’s a side dish coupon. The coupon system is still telling me that it’s there. Did you log in & look?
