  1. Two stores are already cleared out of the Bounty Paper Towels (very disappointing…) – but at the other end of the aisle, I noticed 25 cent peelies on Kleenex. The 280 ct boxes were on sale for 3/$4 – so I got a few .33 boxes of Kleenex. :-)

    • Thanks for mentioning that! I saw the empty shelf there. The manager told me that the ones with the peelies were gone fast, so glad you got some! As for the no bounty it’s still early enough to put in a special order!

      • When you put in a special order for paper towels is there a minimum ammount you have to order? I would be ordering 10.

        • There is not a minimum amount for a special order. If I know something is hot & only want 2 I will special order them! Talk with your manager & see how they like things done. With 10 I would though!

  2. Can you place a special order for the Bounty paper towels if the coupon states 4 like coupons per houshold per day? Will they still let you get your order in one shopping trip?

    • Stephanie says:

YMMV likely. If the order didn’t come in until the last day of the sale and they wouldn’t let you use all coupons, then you would be out of luck. I would address with the manager before ordering so you don’t make anybody mad when it comes time to pay – not that you would…I just mean if you said, ok I only want 4, and you had ordered 20.

    • I would do it & talk some friends who don’t live with you into helping you out. Then you are getting what you need & following the coupon rules.

  3. Hubby found Clear shampoo (on sale 2/$10) that had $3/1 peelies on them, when we checked out, the cashier saw that the coupons were expired but she honored them anyway so we got 10 for only $2 each, regular price is $6.49, also got Olay Regenerist moisturizer for only $11.49, regular price is $21.99.

  4. Reddi Whip whipped cream on sale for $2.00. Use 25 cent coupon making them one dollar.

  5. I went to Albertsons on Wednesday morning. I got 14 rolls of the bounty paper towels (there were plenty left on the shelf) and the cashier let me put all my coupons in one transaction. ;-) And I got 4 packs of Haribo gummy bears that were on sale for $1.39, using the $0.30/1 coupons that I printed a while ago. My total was $1.88 for everything! Yay!

    • Julia, which Albies had plenty left? The 2 in my area were wiped out. (Meridian).

    • I have to question “many were left”. So one other person could also get 14, two, three? I think we need to consider if everyone took as many as I did, how many people can get the deal. The bounty is a regular deal and I get the 4 allowed by the coupons. If there are some left come Tuesday (last day of the sale), I may get a few more if I have some coupons left.

      • I think you need to be careful with getting them just because they are free. If you will use them, this is when you want to stock up. No don’t buy the whole store out & I don’t see anyone doing that. I think there is lots of time left if you work with your managers you can work out a special order for them. I love the manager & director where I shop they are great to work with on special orders. Good luck to everyone!

        • I did a special order for the paper towels. My Albertsons told me they don’t do special orders but since I was ordering 20(a case) he would do it. Is it normal for them not to do special orders? This is the first time that I tried it.

          • I totally depends on the store. Create a good relationship with your grocery manager and be dependable, considerate and kind when you make an order and you will have lots of success.

      • Most people don’t usually have as many P&G coupons as I do so I’m sure plenty of other people got some. I’m not a shelf-clearer! I’ve gotten there before and someone had beaten me to it so I got none. That’s just the way it goes. That’s why I got there early this time. And yes, I will use all those paper towels. They are they basic ones so they go twice as fast and my family uses a lot of them. Don’t hate. ;-)

        • Julia – I hope you don’t think I was “hating”! I know the store I shop at carries cases & cases because they want to make sure everyone gets what they would like. Doesn’t always work that way but, they try. :)

  6. I got free Crest toothbrushes. $0.99 each and used $0.50/1 coupons plus the roundup.
