How is everyone getting more than one set of doublers? Are you buying multiple papers?
Yes we either buy muliple papers or we get them free from neighbors.
Thanks for the reminder about neighbors. I could use all the doublers I can get. (Gonna go ask my neighbor righht now! They get the paper but don’t coupon!)
You would be amazed how many people just toss them! good luck getting them!
On the top we have a great link for several local paper deals. http://fabulesslyfrugal.com/newspaper-deals It ends up being a money saver to have 5 papers come on Sunday. Yes I also get some from my husbands co-workers, neighbors, & friends.
We live in CA no doublers or double coupons. Only was able to save 64% this week. At Albertsons I cant seem to get my savings up beyond 64%. Any ideas?
I am originally from S.Cali. I know how hard it is to save 80% there. My best advice is: if you can save more than half of what you are paying for food you are doing great! Just keep watching sales, clearance tags, and use coupons to save even more. Cutting out half of your food bill (or more from your deals this week) you are on the right track for your area. Keep up the good work you are doing great! Watch your mail flyers from Albertsons once in a while they will include doublers.

I bought 5 GM cereal in on transaction never got a 5.00 cat
The $5 wasn’t a cat but an instant discount you should see it on your receipt. I got a $2 cat though. I never used it because it was cheaper to use coupons & doublers.
Can you please confirm which Albertsons location you shopped at?
I shop at the Ontario Oregon Albertsons, it’s just over an hour outside of Boise.
Also, on the first transaction, how is the total oop $2.97?

Wouldn't the end total oop for this one be $5.97?
The coupons are $1 off so if you use three you get $3 off, then the doublers take an additional $3 off for a total of $6 off
How long is the General mills cat going on for??
At this time I am not sure, it’s not in our system it was kind of a ‘bonus’ thing. I will look into it tomorrow when I run in for Round ups.
