Hey everyone, it’s been brought to my attention (THANKS!) that even if the peelies are for a totally different product, they are meant to be used with the product they are attached to. It was wrong of me to use them without buying the product they were attached to, even if the wording on them didn’t specify that. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention! We work hard to teach good coupon ethics. I hope this mistake can be a teaching moment. Thanks for your understanding.

Lindor coupon is NLA
man! It was still active last night… thanks for letting me know!
The Triscuit complaint coupon is no longer valid.
none of these are available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the top coupons are out, it would of been nice to know about them sooner! So we could of tooken advantage of this too! Bummer
we posted almost all (not 100% we posted the Nivea) of these coupons at least on facebook when they came out… some of them were like 2 months ago. The Linder one was posted here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151174951504627&set=a.10150208147209627.330532.89289689626&type=1&theater
The Method Peelies are on the purple? So they were not on the ones you bought? I’m confused.
They are on the cleaners… they vary from week to week which cleaner they are on. It states no where on the coupon that you have to buy the cleaner, nor does it suggest it.
So did you peel a coupon off a product you did not purchase?
The post has been updated to address your question. When we teach classes we always tell people that you should not take a peelie off a product unless you are going to buy that product right then. Peelies are placed on specific products in order to sell them.
That caught my attention too. Though it may technically be legal based on coupon wording, it is my view that it is really unethical.
You guys are right… I found a peelie originally on a product I bought… and was able to read the small print in depth because I didn’t use it at the time. But you are right. I shouldn’t have used peelies put on cleaning products on the laundry soap without buying the cleaning stuff. Again, I’m sorry. I was wrong, and you can trust it won’t happen again! I updated the post too, with an apology there as well.
I live in Utah…I guess we didn’t get either of the Suave coupons? It can’t be missing from all 10 of my inserts on accident could it?
Kassie,
You are right! I have 12 inserts and only had 1 coupon for the Suave deal. So, NO deal for me!!!
Wow Becky! We don’t know each other but I saw the post on Facebook/your blog regarding the $.79 Target trip you did and the responses you received disturbed me. It seems like you got a lot of flack because of the ‘peelies’. I would just like to say, while I realize the reasons behind not pulling peelies off of products you don’t purchase, you did not deserve the extreme feedback you received. You and the other ladies running this site are pouring a ton of effort/time into helping the masses save money. With that said, I know and realize your heart had to be in the right place when you posted this. You were helping others when you have absolutely no obligation to do so. You could have easily bought 20 or more of these bottles with peelies and never said a word to anyone. THAT would have been unethical. However, you tried to help others out so that they could save a few dollars on an essential. I just want you to know that your character is not called into question with me (as none of us have room to judge) and I look forward to your future posts
Well said, Amanda!
The point of my comment was not to judge, but to bring on a discussion regarding the use of peelies. Missiom accomplished.
