It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

Nice deals Ang!
At the Alb’s on Fairview & Cole in Boise, they had $3 off any produce (at checkout) when you bought 2-2 litre Pepsi products (so 4 Pepsi’s, get $6 off produce & they let you go through the line as often as you wanted !!). Went perfect with the 77 cent Pepsi deal today only. Even better, the produce counted towards the $10 minimum purchase for the Pepsi. Needless to say we are now stocked up on Pepsi for the holidays and produce for quite awhile!! It was such a nice surprise.
I didn’t use one round up coupon. lol!
wow that’s great! I love it when you can get produce discounted!
12th avenue store had $3.00 off produce WYB 2 Sierra Mist Natural soda. I bought three at .77 a piece and used $1.00 off 3 Sierra Mist. $1.31 + tax for 3 2ltr and $3.00 of free produce. I did the $10.00 purchase requirement by doing the Vitamin Water deal. I’m getting an unofficial/official vibe that stores are letting you slide on the $10.00 spending requirement, but you didn’t hear it from me.
There is also an Albertsons store coupon out there for $1/1 Cheerios, any variety, so be sure to check your alerts. One per transaction. So buy 4 boxes for $7, use 4 mfg coupons rounded up plus one store coupon for a net price of $2, or $.50/box.
WOW that’s great! Where did you see it at?
Email alert. I’ve also seen it mentioned on other couponing blogs.
Albertsons has been putting out some really nice store coupons lately. It seems to be related to their recent “gotta love low prices” campaign.
Yes, I have heard of Albertsons doing that, Joey included some of those links on the weekly deals post. Thanks again Susan!
I got the $1/1 ccoupon at check out in the form of a store catalina. I also got one for chex cereal and fiber one bars.
My husband and I did two transactions tonight for a total of $42 OOP – 80 items! Just want to say thank you all for these posts. We save so much time by visiting this website, and so much MONEY by shopping smart.
Your welcome! It feels so good to save money! I am an addict of it!
I recently moved from TX to ID. I shopped at Walgreens & used to save up to 90% at times by stacking coupons. However, I have found that the Walgreens locally in Caldwell/Nampa area won’t allow you to do multiple transactions-they limit 5 per shopping trip. I just can’t seem to even get up into the 60-70% savings range. I am disabled & on a fixed income. So my budget is a MAJOR component. Savings is a MUST. Any suggestions?
I am not up to date on all the Walgreens rules so, I forward this on to our Walgreens expert Becky. As for a general rule, it takes time to learn everything. Keep following posts that we put up showing exactly what we bought and how we did it. The biggest trick to getting the highest % of savings is matching sales with coupons. This way you are getting the biggest bang for your buck. Let me know if you have anymore questions I would be happy to help you!
Hi Tamera,
Honestly, the sales have been sorta lame at Wags recently. We used to have 3-4 freebies a week just with RR, and now we are lucky if we get one.
But honestly, with the transaction limits… those are across the board. At least hear in Idaho. My Wags (I go to 2 different ones) will only allow 3 or 4 transactions per day.
I am hearing rumors that the Black Friday ad is supposed to be spectacular, so fingers crossed. But for now, just keep getting only what you need, and stick with it.
how come only used (2) campbells coupons when you purchased 4 cans?
The coupon was $.40/2.
Hello! I am new to this site and new to Oregon (originally from California). I am LOVING this site and your posts. I am a mom to 3 surviving sextuplets and groceries are getting more and more expensive. So this website is now a daily must for me. I have a couple of questions what are round ups, and when you store coupon is that a coupon you receive from the store? Or from a newspaper? If I wanted to hug the list above what do I do and where do I get the coupons
? Thank u!!! (I’m such a newbie to this)
Welcome! Welcome! So, the round ups first: every once in a while Albertsons will offer “round ups” this means they take all coupons $.25 to $.99 and make them worth $1. This is a great time to use your small $.25 coupons. Like the bounty paper towel ones! Most of the coupons I personally use are from the newspapers. If you go to the top of our main page you will see “Newspaper Deals” click that to see if you can find your new local paper. When there is a “coupon match up done” for the stores we always try to find printable coupons to. They will be highlighted in blue, just click them and it will get you to the right page to print them. Some times with stores they will print out Catalinas. This is like a store coupon, though sometimes it will say manufacture. So not to over whelm you but if it does say manufacture you can double that coupon (as long as it’s $1 or less) on times when “doublers” or Twice the Value coupons are put out by Albertsons. Does that get you started? Let me know if you have any more questions I would love to help you!
This is fantastic info can’t wait til my next shipping trip!!!! Thank you very much!
Your welcome! Look for a great post tomorrow by Joey on some more great Albertsons deals to help plan your next shopping trip!
