Bacon, Apple & Cheddar Panini

 {Pin This}

Cathy and I (Monica) made these delicious panini’s at a Essential Everyday Supervalu event. This is a Supervalu recipe. We loved them and thought they were so good. I have zaycon bacon in my freezer, cheddar from sales at Fred Meyer and it is apple season in the northwest, so this is a great cooking from your pantry meal.

Ingredients:

¼ cup  Horseradish Mustard

8 slicesVienna bread*

8 slices Mild or White Cheddar Cheese*

8 slices Bacon*, cooked

1 cup thinly sliced Granny smith apples

*Available as an Essential Everyday™ product

Directions:

  1. Spread mustard over 4 slices of bread.
  2. Top each slice of bread with 1 slice cheese, 2 bacon slices, ¼ apple slices, 1 slice of cheese and remaining slices of bread.
  3. Spray a preheated Panini grill with cooking spray.  Place sandwiches on grill; spray tops of sandwiches with additional cooking spray.  Grill until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted (about 5 minutes).
Here are some pictures from the day that we made it!
Got apples?
No those are not my hands or Cathy’s. They belong to the chef. Oh goodness, I just want to eat that right now! If you do not have a panini maker just use a skillet on the stove.

Enjoy!
