Great Memory Idea for the First Day of School Picture!

How cute is this? First Day of School Memory Board!

You just need a Dry Erase Board. Then write your child’s name, the year for school, their grade, teacher, and what they want to be when they grow up. This way as they grow and change over the years you can remember a little bit more about what they loved at specific grades. I wish I would have started this years ago!

  1. Love it Ang!

Some of the memories I like to capture each year with my daughter are:
    1. Favorites: food, song, book, TV show, etc. This lists changes with age … for a toddler it could be things like “favorite color.”

    2. When I grow up I want to be …

    3. Handwriting sample

I never thought to coordinate this with back-to-school time, but that does make sense. We usually do it around Christmas/New Years.
