It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

My Rite Aid [in seattle] has been requiring me to wait until the next day all along for my Up’s. I have learned to GO THE NEXT DAY or I will forget about them and they expire so fast!
This week i made three trips and bought in order… based on what they had most of in stock (stock was low so I bought mouthwash and razors, then the next day I grabbed shampoo) on my final return trip I had 8 Up’s and nothing left to buy!
My kids were elated to score toys off the clearance table because there wasnt anything else in the store that I could get a good deal on. It was like getting free toys!
Welcome to the frustrating side of Rite Aid’s new Up’s policy: having Ups and nothing left to buy or having stuff to buy and having it goe OUT of stock by then time you return to use your Ups. Its a bummer….
Agreed it stinks. Especially for those of us who had little tiny kids and can’t possibly run to the store everyday. Or my mother-in-law who is mobility-impaired and can hardly manage one trip a week out of the house, let alone multiple.
It’s the same with me in Tacoma. I can ‘t use them until the next day.
Hey girls!!! Good news!!! I called Rite Aid Directly, (1800riteaid) and asked them to opt out of the new policy….they did it!!! Thought you would love to know
BTW I’m a huge fan of your website!!!
Great idea!!! Then you don’t have to deal with it at the store! Woot! Woot! I am a huge fan of you!
This week, the in-ad coupon was actually a manufacturer coupon … see the bar code = 0074300-027065 … and not the usual RA coupon.
