At my store in Eugene, OR, a lot of items are albertsons brand, but the shelf tag says everyday essentials. In this case, the coupon doesn’t seem to scan. One time a cashier told me they must be out of the EE mac and cheese. I tried to explain that wasn’t the case, but he didn’t get it. Has anybody had luck using the coupons on albertsons brand when the shelf is clearly ready for it to be replaced by EE brand?? I hate using coupons when they don’t scan!

I used mine on the frozen smoothie mix yesterday and even though it said Everyday Essentials right on the package the coupon wouldn’t scan. The cashier just typed it in for me. Good luck!

I’ve had no luck and I’ve tried many stores, cashier and managers seem to agree that it must be an EE item, not albys.

  2. There was a second printing of these books and this particular coupon in the second printing is good until 8/22/12. So check to see if your store has the newer ones and you can score until next month!

  3. The new coupon book came out last week with some awesome deals!

The albertson’s sugar cones coupon for $1 off and last night they were only 1.09 so $.09 for cones!

Also breyers coupon for $1 off two containers so only $2.49. Hello summer!!!!!

  4. I have photos of coupon and cones if you want me to email them to you! Thanks for all your fab labs deals :)

  5. Thanks for this list Monica.

Awesome that there’s a new coupon out there! I’ll be looking for it. Does the booklet look the same (yellow) or is it something different?

I’ve had different luck using the EE coupon on other Albertsons store brands. They have a number of private label lines — Stone Ridge, Carlita, for example, in addition to the Shoppers Value and former Albertsons brand (which is now the Essential Everyday). At my neighborhood store they allow the coupon on any of their store brands, and I was able to get some Carlita tortillas at a great price. But at another store, I tried to use it with the Carlita canned chilis and was told no.

The coupons only scan once per transaction. Some stores will let you use more than one in a single transaction, but you have to watch and they have to manually override any coupons after the first one.

I’m really liking the EE products for staple items.
