Today’s teacher appreciation gift is quick and easy to make. It took me about 10 minutes to put together and cost under $3!
Here is what you need:
Mini clipboard {I found mine at Wal-Mart for $1.12}
Washi Tape {I got mine at Target it was $4 for the 4 pack, you can find it at most craft stores or online}
Ribbon {I forgot to include it in the picture, I used my stash}
A cute print {I downloaded mine here, the ladies at eighteen25 did a great job on this one, I just added my kids’ teachers names to the top and printed out a 5X7 at home}
Target had all kinds of colors of this Washi tape. I will be going back to get more! I think this is probably the best price unless you have a coupon to use at one of the craft stores. It is in the office supply section at Target.
Just start by rolling out the tape and sticking it to the clip board. At first I cut off the extra on the ends, then I decided I liked how it looked folded over and stuck to the back. Just do what you like.
When you get to the clip part, just put the tape over it, the run the edge of your scissors along the metal part of the clipboard and remove the tape. {ignore my yucky kids scissors, they were the most handy}
This is when I decided it needed some ribbon on it.
So just tie a variety of colors of ribbon to the clip a the top with a square knot {right over left, left over right}.
Now it is ready to give to those hard working teachers!

So there is your quick and easy Teacher Appreciation gift. You could always put a pad of paper on there if you don’t want to do a print. Happy Crafting!

How fun! I never would have thought of using the tape! Kinda funny you post this tonight, I’m making an altered clipboard right now for my sons teacher.
