Thank you for posting this. This has been one of my families very favorites for several years now. It is a little different with the ranch but I’ll have to try this version. I love it because I can keep everything on hand and throw it together in 5 min for a quick and delicious/nutritious meal.
Sounds delicious! One question: do you drain and rinse the beans or do you add the liquid in the can to the mixture? Thanks!
KJ- I have done both. I think both turn out well. I think it is just personal preference.
I made the stove top version last week. Delicious! My husband and I loved it! Thanks so much for this recipe. I will definitely make it again.
Thanks for the feedback! I am glad you liked it!
Great, I have all these ingredients but will use ground turkey or chicken instead of the beef.
How big is this ranch package? I have a bulk bottle of Ranch dry mix from Costco, would like to use it up. Also, do you think raw tomatoes would work instead of diced and stewed? I ended up with more than I wanted from Bountiful Baskets. Thanks!
You will need 8 tsp Ranch mix. You could totally use raw tomatoes. You will just want to increase your cook time to allow for them to cook. I added shredded zucchini when I made this yesterday and it cooked great!
