With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I’ve been trying to find the perfect gift for my mom. She’s not big into material things and hates when we spend a lot of money on her. But she’s my mom and I love the heck out of her and want her to know it. So each year I struggle to find just the right gift. Typically I spend very little money because if I did she would be upset.
This year I stumbled upon this old picture. This photo was taken minutes after I was born (I was not born in a hospital, so it might not look like the typical newborn picture!). My adoring older sister is cradling me, proud as ever. It is my mother’s favorite picture.
