I also use them to sop up that bacon grease I’m going to throw away. If I put my bacon in the microwave, I use the all-cotton t-shirts instead of papertowels…. Every little bit of savings helps.

That’s funny you say that…I just used an old [but clean] sock the other day to clean something.
Old T-shirts also make EXCELLENT yarn. It is soft and comes in a huge variety of colors for a bright scarf or a rug. Makes your knitting project feel like you bought expense Jersey yarn. Great way to save. Try it!
