Has anyone bought the Degree deodorant that’s on sale? Do the coupons match up with what’s on sale?
Watch the match-ups on the cereal. For example…the $4/4 cereal coupon specifically states the Raisin Bran 20oz size…that is NOT the cereal that is on sale at Smiths. The Raisin Bran on sale at Smiths is ONLY the 25oz size.

Is anybody else as frustrated with Smih’s as I am? My store (Idaho Falls) will only allow 2 internet coupons per transaction and 5 total per day per person! Crazy! I walked out with nothing the other day!
Obviously a store-type of rule…I have found Smith’s to be one of the most coupon-friendly stores here in Vegas (Vons is by far the worst). Some cashiers actually cheer me at the money savings at Smith’s…what a breath of fresh air.
I’d talk to the store manager. The rule is an anti-fraud and maybe anti-shelf clearing measure. You can just prove to him/or her you are attempting neither!
I have also found that rules like that depend on the cashier & time of day you go. Yes, I am guilty of cashier-profiling!
I know what you mean Chelisse! I also use the IF store and it’s so frustrating. One way around it is to take your first purchases out to your car and then come back in. They changed up their coupon policy a few weeks ago (not Smith’s corporate policy) and refused to give me a copy or even show it to me. I totally cashier profile in that store. I avoid cashier Matt like the plague!! Good luck!

So, I had the most delightful conversation with a lovely employee at the Idaho Falls Smith’s this morning! The coupon policy basically is this: 5 paper manufacturer coupon limit (from inserts) and 2 internet per manufacturer, per customer, per day. I explained that I live a good deal away from their store and it’s not advantageous for me to make multiple trips into town. She said just take your items to your car and come back in!! The intent is to stop shelf clearing, holding up the lines with multiple transactions, and basically trying to make everyone happy. She indicated that sales have actually gone up since implementing this policy!! This is very doable and I appreciate that they are trying to appease everyone. All of the cashiers are aware of this policy, have had to sign that they understand the coupon policy and will get in trouble if they don’t follow it. The best thing for all of us is to follow it as well!! She also indicated they have had a lot of photocopied coupons. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS!!!!! It will ruin it for all of us!! I’m assuming this is for all the Smith’s stores. She indicated that this policy came from corporate. Hope this helps – it sure helped me!!!
