How are you doing with your Grocery Budget?

Did you know we have a weekly challenge going?  Lucky for you, it’s not too late to join!  Here are the details about our 2012 Grocery Budget Challenge.

How did I do last week?  Two words:  EPIC. FAIL.

I’m learning some lessons with this budget.  It takes PLANNING!  Menu planning and be prepared will help us save big time!  AND sending the hubs to Costco isn’t safe!  I was out of town for most of the week and my dear husband was at home with all 7 kids!  It blew the budget this week.  Month to date I’ve almost spent as much as I did all of last month!  YIKES!

MY PLAN OF ACTION:  I’m leaving town again next week for Blissdom.  I’m going to prepare some freezer meals that my hubs (or 13 year old daughter) and quickly throw in the oven.  I also need to get to Albertsons and stock up on a few things with my doubles!  It’s hard after being out of town for several days though… I’ve got to get life back in order!  I’m going to try to hit Albertsons tonight or tomorrow morning (got to organize my last few weeks of coupons first!).

Here is how the fabs are doing on their budget {see some of our shopping trips}…
