Just a heads up…I signed up for Amazon Mom last summer and my membership is still valid, but the extra 15% was not showing up. I e-mailed customer service and this is part of their response:
“Starting on January 24, 2012, the maximum discount available on eligible diapers and wipes subscriptions will be 20%. This includes a 5% Subscribe and Save base discount plus an additional 15% exclusively for Amazon Mom members who have an active Prime membership”.
The rest of the e-mail stated:
“I checked your account and see that the Prime membership is not active in your account and because of this you’re unable to get the additional 15% discount for the item which you’re trying to purchase.
Once you sign up for Prime membership you’ll be able to get the additional 15% discount on eligible diapers and wipes subscriptions”.
Has anyone that was previously signed up for Amazon Mom (like last year) received the extra 15% discount on subscribe and save without being a Prime member?
That is good to know. I was a member and should’ve been throughout most of this year, but with the changes in January, my Amazon Mom benefits were cancelled this month. I actually had some good reasons for signing up for Amazon Prime though, so I did that this month and can see the extra 15% again now.
