Per day, it is tracked with your card. You can do numerous transactions, but only the first will double. And it only doubles on Wednesday and Saturday.

It says up to $1.00 not including, they told me. What do I do?
I called Kmart corporation last week and they told me it was EVERY Kmart. I would check your weekly ad, all the information is on page 4 of the wrap around. Or print out the info from the Kmart coupon page above. I imagine you are probably talking to someone not aware of the promotion.

I experienced a fiasco at Kmart this evening! Are we sure that the 10 dollar catalina deal is before coupons? Now that I’m looking at the verbiage on the flyer Im wondering if it is or isn’t. Either way I went in there thinking that it was before coupons and after mine didn’t print out, followed by a customer service nightmare I’m not even sure what I paid for… :/ Looking over the blog I see that there are documented shopping trips where the total for the catalina was calculated before coupons…. Please advise.
Today I was reminded why I have not been to Kmart in years when I can go to a much more pleasant and clean Target or should I even say it … Walmart. Yikes!
Sorry you had a bad experience Megan. The deal is before coupons, so I am not sure why yours didn’t work.
Is there a way to know what department an item falls into so you know if you have spent the $25 required amount from the right departments. For example, apparently dog food counts as grocery as my $1 has doubled when it hit $25. When I asked a manager, he was confused as well when I told him dog food counted as grocery! It would be helpful to know for certain. I read somewhere that batteries fall into hardware, so those wouldn’t count in the grocery, health/beauty and drug dept.

The Multi Grain Cheerios at my store were not on the $2.00 sale… they were $4.99 =(
and the Downy Unstoppables was $6.99. But I revised my game plan real quick and still did pretty good. =)
